Request: Full Gyroscope Aiming Support and Auto-Calibration Toggle
Dear Dev team, I’m a PlayStation player and a big fan of first-person shooters. I truly appreciate developers who implement gyroscope aiming — it’s a modern, precise, and comfortable mechanic that significantly enhances controller gameplay, especially for players who are physically disabled. I’d like to share a suggestion regarding future gyroscope support in your game. In Battlefield, for example, gyroscope aiming is technically present in the latest alpha versions (such as BF6), but it’s currently non-functional. I’d love to see a fully developed and customizable implementation of gyroscope aiming — similar to how it works in Fortnite, THE FINALS, or Call of Duty. Most importantly, I’d love to see: An option to disable gyroscope auto-calibration. This system is built into PlayStation controllers and often interferes with small, precise movements — such as when using sniper rifles or trying to control recoil. While it can’t be disabled at the system level, some games successfully disable it within their own engine (e.g., Fortnite). Comprehensive customization options — sensitivity, acceleration, input threshold, inversion, and more — just like in the titles mentioned above. Features like these show care for detail and greatly improve the controller experience for many players. Thank you for your work — I hope this feedback is useful! Sincerely, Artem Rolar Horun P.S. I played the BF alpha and it was awesome.Rolar_Artem2 minutes agoSeasoned Newcomer192Views15likes14CommentsWelcome back, Soldier!, what's your class?
We are almost there! Next Thursday is the multiplayer reveal, which class will be your main? I'm going for anti-vehicle, always fun to bring the smack to the tanks while rolling with the squad to repair, while SMGs and carbines will be my first pick for it. So, what's yours?278Views10likes25CommentsSquad System
Hi, any1 know if Battlefield 6 will enable us players to create your own squads with password and without password, enable to invite friends or ingame players to the squad like in BF3? Also be able to freely choose to join a squad IF you want or just be without a squad? If not please upvote this post and pray they make it possible to create and join/leave quads as you like. In my world its not a BF if you cant freely join your friends and play together. Cheers!Zlesk57 minutes agoSeasoned Newcomer18Views2likes1CommentLooking for to squad up with Finnish players? Hi Battlefield team, I’ve been playing (Battlefield 6), and I really enjoy the large-scale battles. However, I’d love to see a few features added in future updates or games: Gunships – It would be amazing to have heavy gunships (like the AC-130) with onboard cannons and support roles. Tv Missiles – Introducing guided missile systems for both infantry and vehicles could make combat more tactical. Naval Battles – Large-scale sea warfare, with controllable ships, submarines, and naval aircraft, would add a whole new dimension to the game. These additions could take the Battlefield experience to the next level. Thanks for your hard work and for listening to the community!lonelyboy_0263 hours agoNewcomer6Views2likes0Comments- sudgajm3 hours agoSeasoned Novice3.2KViews12likes25Comments
About the Server Browser...
I often see requests for a server browser on social media. I agree that a server browser is necessary, but when hosting a community event, all you need to do is search in the server browser, making it easy to jump to the same server. With the current system, you can't jump to the same server unless you jump from your friends list.213Views10likes17CommentsSidearm partial reload detail
I was just watching a video from StoneMountain where Hé was playing as Recon with a sniper rifle during the Multiplayer event. At some point he reloaded his sidearm, which was a partial reload since his magazine wasn’t empty. I noticed an interesting detail where the character holds the magazine, releases the magazine from the sidearm so that he holds both magazines in one hand and then inserts the new magazine. I’ve never seen something like that, at least not that I can remember. I was just fascinated by it, I don’t even know if it’s actually practical in real life.Sawtooth753 hours agoSeasoned Veteran12Views1like0CommentsPLEASE PUT BF3 VOICELINES IN BF6
Literally the only thing BF6 is missing is BF3 & BF4 United States Voicelines. BF3 & BF4 US voicelines perfectly capture the Intensity & Chaos in their voice, it's Immersive, Addicting & anytime anybody on BF3 opens their mouth, each word is Badass. They'd Elevate BF6 definitely. PLEASE PUT BATTLEFIELD 3 US VOICELINES & BF4 US VOICELINES (TOGETHER) IN BATTLEFIELD 6 & REMASTERED BF3 MAPS. Hearing a German woman shout "Man Down" 24/7 ain't it. Listen to this Magic. THE BEST BATTLEFIELD CAN'T BE WITHOUT THIS MAGIC 👀 Listen. Unless Portal has BF3 factions. I strongly believe these voicelines fit the main game, would be a welcome addition and a throwback for veterans as well as add even more Immersive atmosphere and immersion and introduce new players to this awesome, gripping dialogue. https://x.com/Robert77378042/status/1951379669661397287?t=PsBEjWb_2vKnicKoO6nDWw&s=19ROBERTCPP4 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer19Views1like0CommentsBattlefield lost some of its unique DNA and became a more mixed product.(COD)
I’m a Battlefield veteran and have played BF2, BF3, and BF4 for thousands of hours. After watching the bf6 playtest video, what I found is that the game has lost some of its unique DNA. #Sound: The sound design is nowhere near BF4’s sound quality. It has more of a cheap, crispy sound. In BF4, the weapon sound effects are more unique and well-pronounced. They also have a strong and noticeable sound difference depending on where the player is firing (thanks to a good sound engine). Also, in BF3 and BF4, when you hit or kill a target, no feedback sound (hit marker) is played — which adds to the immersion. #Gun Recoils: From the BF6 gameplay, all guns seem to have very similar recoil patterns (less recoil and very easy to hit targets). But in BF3 and BF4, guns are harder to control and have more realistic recoil. BF6 leans more toward an arcade shooter and has lost some of the realism. #Weapon and Overall Gameplay Movements/Feels: In BF4, when you throw a grenade, your character uses two hands (like in real life) instead of one hand. The body movements feels more lifelike and smooth in BF4(because how human body works) when you fall or jump the camera got that bouncing effect, but in BF6, it feels very rigid and snappy — like a robot with camera stabilizer on. Weapons in BF4 moves more naturally and feel more relaxed when looking around, which feels more realistic and was unique to the BF series. In BF6, the weapon and overall movement feel more like a fast-paced, modern tactical shooter. #UI: The UI is also very leaning towards COD, like intro from the the beginning of the match(even the intro itself!) and loadout & customization, but in bf4 its more minimalistic and without messy UI design and icons. Why BF4 loadout and customization is the GOAT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQGGRM5Z8fo #Camera: Jet camera switching in BF4 is instant — cleaner and with less motion sickness. In BF6, the camera moves around when switching views, which can be disorienting. #Overall: The new Battlefield has lost many of its original realistic traits. It’s less minimalistic and leans more toward fast-paced shooters like COD.222Views1like11CommentsA couple BF6 thoughts
Hey all, been a while since I’ve been here, I’d say a couple years or so. I was a “Hero”, like the other individuals that watch over these Battlefield Forums. Anyway, I’m sure these have been brought up, but doesn’t hurt to reiterate: No more Seasons please, bring back Battlepacks that can be earnable and purchasable + have limited-time events where we can earn cool cosmetics. Server Browser - definitely a must, so we can join the Maps and Modes that we want to play. Rental Servers - To have fun with friends, and also for those that are still into the Competitive scene and still like to have Tournaments. This could also bring back Community events like Humans vs Zombies, FridayNightBattlefield Custom Servers, etc. DO NOT go the route of CoD, and start adding dumb looking skins / crossovers with different products / franchises that no one asked for. Bring back the CTE (Community Test Environment) on PC AND Consoles. Premium Pass needs to be a thing again. Live Service has a history of destroying these games, starting with Battlefield V. Premium Pass guarantees us Content, and it is not drip-fed to us through Live Service. Instead, we get Expansions similar to BF1, with new Maps, Weapons, Gadgets, etc. This is a more viable solution than Live Service. Anyway, I think that’s it 😅 Til next time 🫡66Views7likes9CommentsWhich mechanics do you want and which not?
So we're closing in on the multiplayer reveal. Let's start the discussion on what mechanics from previous titles you would like to see return in Battlefield 6 and which absolutely not? Here's my list. Interested to see what others think. YES Server Browser with persistent servers Rental servers Scoreboard (shouldn´t have to list this but BF2042 taught us otherwise) Limited ammo on vehicles, combined with re-supply stations Jets and helicopters should spawn at base, not mid-air Soldier leaning Squad revive Hardcore mode Basic militaristic cosmetics Class locked weapons 64 players max Modes: Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, TDM, Frontlines, Operations Maps: good variety between AOW and Close Quarters, Naval maps, Night maps 1st person takedown animation Destruction Dynamic weather Realistic movement DLC with 4 new maps, new modes and vehicles every quarter Premium pass NO Specialists Goofy cosmetics Cringe voicelines Excessive spotting In-game wallhack abilities/gadgets Crossplay on by default XL chaos modes 3rd person animations, it should be a proper FPS No excessive sliding, bunny hopping, dolphin diving or sprinting with a heavy LMG That's it for now, but I might add to this list by means of editing the OP.440Views19likes29CommentsAnyone else coming out of Battlefield retirement for BF6?
As the title says. I’m basically retired from Battlefield after feeling disappointed and frustrated with 2042 after my very long Battlefield career. I’m trying to keep my distance and not get dragged into the hype. Anyone else in the same position?Sawtooth757 hours agoSeasoned Veteran77Views6likes9CommentsMy biggest concerns for the upcoming Battlefield 6
Absolutely HUUUUGE BF fan here, I've put so many hours into BF on Series X/PS5 and PC over MANY years. Starting with BF3, I've played every Battlefield, and had some fantastic times on ALL of them, despite 2042 being my least enjoyed, despite it being a MIND BLOWING game - it just was not for me overall. I would like to air my biggest concerns for BF6. And they echo my issues with 2042. 1) The maps (we will see...) 2) No map filter (This killed BF 2042 for me). 3) Crossplay - with insufficient Input Based Matchmaking. 4) SBMM (So Crossplay can exist with insufficient Input Based Matchmaking). 5) No server browser (So SBMM can exist) 6) Performance. These will make or break my time with BF6. Just like BF 2042, it was such a jaw dropping game in so many ways, and at certain times and on the right maps I had a BLAST, but, due to these issues, for me (and you can NEVER please everyone - that's why we need options/choices with, for example, MAP FILTERS) I fear for the upcoming BF6 game. I am so routing for it though, obviously! Note: To the team who did BF2042 I can honestly say from an objective perspective it was a masterwork (in many ways) - incredible, and I will always stand by that, but, with art, I'm afraid personal preference and taste dictates success, over technical mastery, often.HugeBigness7 hours agoSeasoned Adventurer63Views4likes4CommentsBattlefield 6 AI Soldiers
One of the few things I actually did like about Battlefield 2042 was that there were finally AI Soldiers for us to play with and against. Although personally I think they need upgrades for the new game to make them feel a lot better to play with. Yes I understand others don't want them in the public servers. But my question is will they still be available in Private Servers and Solo/COOP matches like they are in Battlefield 2042?Jesse1657 hours agoSeasoned Ace843Views10likes17Comments- toastyNcrisp7 hours agoRising Traveler58Views0likes5Comments
Unlink my account from steam
So I want to unlink my EA account from Steam and use my old EA account that I used for ps4 when bf1 came out and link it to my Steam. the reason is cross progression I have friends that play on Console and some on PC. It is frustrating having my account on PC with 200+ level and all of the weapons unlocked and when I want to play with my Console mates I have to start over. I linked my current account not knowing that in the future will have a cross progression system. I did it because I was clueless when I got my pc for the first time and didn't know anything about linking and how it works I am simply asking is it possible that I do it or not? Sense EA Support not responding for 2 days straight.52Views1like11Comments
