Late BF6 community suggestions/discussions
Sup guys! I'm not sure if there's already a discussion thread for this. As far as I could gather, the community suggestions and requests have already closed. Nonetheless, I just felt like putting some thoughts out there for what I and others may like to see implemented in BF6. For all I know, it could be too late for DICE to make changes or additions, but oh well. I'll prattle on regardless. Personally, I would really love it if this game ramped up the atmosphere like in BF1. In particular, an option to include more "Intense Battle" responses and voice lines to make the atmosphere much more intense and immersive. The reason I'm thinking that should be an option is because Battlefield really isn't the same kind of game as, let's say, Red Orchestra. Or at least it doesn't have quite the same audience. Some people probably wouldn't want a horrors of war atmosphere if they prefer a more casual experience. But nonetheless, inclusions like that would make for really high-octane and immersive gameplay. Anyone else have tidbits that they may like to see implemented?9Views0likes0CommentsGive BF6 a Thick44 easter egg.
At the end of public beta before release, the map design team should take a poll of the community's favorite map from beta testing and the winner should have a Thick44 easter egg in it somewhere. Like his Recon character from Battlefield friends carved into a cliffside like WAY OUT OF THE WAY or spray painted onto an indestructible wall, SOMETHING to immortalize Tony in a mainline Battlefield title. THAT kind of fan service is what we need from time to time.14Views1like2CommentsThe setting and saving mechanism of key habits
Regarding the setting of the Battlefield 6 button, I hope the production team can improve it. Both Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 can save my key settings. This is not about whether it is my personal computer. However, in the next Battlefield 6, I hope that the habit keys and mouse sensitivity I set can be saved, so that even if I don't play on my personal computer, my habits can be inherited. For example, when I go to the Internet cafe, I don't need to set up again. I hope it can solve it.12Views0likes1CommentMerchandise
Dear EA and Battlefield Team, I love you and I love Battlefield and that's why I would like to ask for a favor. I know it's not a small one. I will need a new chair soon and I thought that would be a perfect opportunity for BF Franchise. Particular collab with Secret Labs, since they are the only one who provides chairs for ppl up to almost 400lbs. The quality auf their chair never disappointed me and even after many years 12 hours plus daily usage still comfy af. I hope this is something you can bring to reality <3 Would really love to have one. I am ready but have few concerns from others PoV
Haven't been this excited for a any new game for a long time. Battlefield is always major innovator in scene. This time around we are likely to get re-imagined version of past success. Nearly all stuff seems to be out there which we've have requested. Platoon support and social network for it is missing(?) Will you add it later on? Just make Portal server rent program easier process than in BF2042 where you had to log in to somewhere before able to start up a server. Intuitive, user-friendly design helps players finding their way to right place.Wizardsaru_Tomi9 hours agoRising Rookie19Views3likes0CommentsPersistent Lobbies for All Out Warfare/Quick Match
One of the most significant pain points my friends and I encountered with Battlefield 2042—especially in the standard All-Out Warfare (AOW) mode—was the lack of match-to-match persistence. It’s incredibly frustrating to join a match just as it ends, only to be kicked back to the main menu and forced to re-queue. This issue becomes even more noticeable when you're the fifth or sixth person in a group, trying to join friends who’ve already made it in. You're left sitting idle, waiting for a spot to open, and even when you finally join, you may land on the opposing team or enter halfway through the match—only to have to repeat the cycle all over again. And this only begins to touch on the random nature of seeing the same map(s) repeatedly and rarely seeing others entirely by luck of where you get placed (versus being on a map rotation). I can only hope that the AOW lobbies persist between matches (with a player/team scramble/balance between rounds, keeping squads together). While Portal mode offers some customization and flexibility, it doesn’t fully address the need for persistent, rentable servers that can support long-term community building—something previous Battlefield titles handled far more effectively. The lack of server persistence, RCON support, or the ability to share admin controls makes it difficult to manage a Portal server, especially considering that it may require the host’s machine to stay online 24/7. My buddies and I would love to rent/host a server for our group and for others to play a fair/balanced game, but it looks like that may not be in the cards yet again. I’m really hoping Battlefield 6 has addressed some of these long-standing concerns. If not, I fear Portal mode may once again be underutilized, plagued by niche or exploitative servers (e.g., 1000% damage, bot farming, etc.), rather than serving as a meaningful platform for community-led gameplay. Hi EA / Battlefield team, I’ve been playing the Battlefield franchise since Battlefield 1942, and I’ve played every single title and expansion released to date. Battlefield 6 has incredible potential, but there are a few key elements that I believe are worth considering, either before launch or as part of future updates and support. Please note that I have not yet had the opportunity to play the game myself. My comments reflect only what has been shared through official channels and community gameplay so far. One of the most requested features by the community is the return of a full server browser, along with the ability for players to rent or host their own servers using their preferred hosting provider. This has always been a foundational part of Battlefield’s identity and community longevity. It’s not just about matchmaking, it’s about giving players control and ownership over their experience. That said, from what has been shown so far, the current server system still looks like a form of matchmaking, and unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any indication that a true server browser will be implemented. Despite being a long-standing and repeated request from the community, this feature continues to be overlooked, and I believe it’s something that deserves serious reconsideration. Another defining feature of the franchise is destruction. While some destruction appears to be present in BF6, I haven’t yet seen the level of full-scale, dynamic destruction that we had in Bad Company 2, where entire buildings and map structures could be leveled. From the official presentation and after watching multiple streamers play the game, I noticed that many objects in the environment, like fences, barricades, and certain structures in open areas, stayed intact even after being hit by vehicles or sustained gunfire. I understand that not everything in a map can or should be fully destructible, especially for balance or technical reasons. But obvious elements like those should still react to player actions and feel destructible when it makes sense. Based on what’s been shown so far, destruction still feels somewhat limited. I really hope this aspect can keep evolving, because when destruction is impactful and unpredictable, it adds immersion, tactical depth, and brings back the raw chaos that made Bad Company 2 so memorable. Reactive environments have always been a key part of what makes Battlefield stand out, and it would be great to feel that again. When it comes to progression, I want to emphasize the importance of classic systems like medals, ribbons, and assignments, which added real depth and motivation in games like BF2, BF3, and BF4. I truly hope to see a proper rank system, assignments that reward effort and teamplay, separate progression for classes, vehicles, and weapons, and meaningful unlocks, not just filler content. I also would have loved to see the return of the custom emblem editor, as it gave players a way to express themselves and build squad identity, but I understand that might not be part of the current UI and menu design. I understand that Battlefield Portal will return, which could be a great tool for community creativity. However, there’s also a valid concern that many of these classic and essential features might end up locked behind Portal, as they were in BF2042, without real impact on the core game or progression. These systems should ideally be integrated into the main experience, not limited to a sandbox. Battlefield 6 has massive potential, and the community has been very vocal about what they want across forums, social media, and streams. I truly hope the team is listening to both longtime veterans and new players alike. This is a great opportunity to bring the entire community back together and restore Battlefield to its roots. Thank you for your time and dedication, A loyal fan since 1942ELMUERTES11 hours agoSeasoned Novice21Views1like0Comments- 6Views0likes1Comment
