Stay Over Event Update
I was playing the Sims 4 and my sims parents are divorced, I would like Mom to have the daughter on every other weekend, but I do not want to have to edit this on Manage Worlds every time to move my child from one home to another. I am shocked that when this stay over system was integrated into the game this feature was not all ready on it for the thought process of divorced families. So my idea is to be able to select the house you would like to have the stay over at, so this can be at a friends house you stay the night at or at the other parents house for a weekend, or even staying with grandparents while the parents have a weekend alone. This could really change my game and I would love to see this added into the game. Right now the current system set up is you press start the stay over event and you select who you want to have at your home. You cant really decide if you want to stay over somewhere. If we could update this system to really flesh out story telling that would be nice. Sincerely BobbySimming :)Sims 4 won't update- stuck on preparing
I've had this issue before but this is the first time where I haven't been able to resolve it myself. Trying to install the update for Sims 4 but every time it gets stuck on 'preparing'/3% infinitely. I have tried everything I can think of-- restarting the app, restarting my computer, clearing the cache, running EA app as administrator, limiting download speed, not limiting download speed, even tried these multiple times. Nothing that has worked before is working this time. Some attempts it would flash between 3% and 0% before repeatedly saying there was an unknown error, other times it just gets stuck and does nothing, always at the same spot. Just now, I tried pausing the download and restarting the EA app again, but now the app itself is frozen on the 'connecting to the EA app' popup with the logo, and it has been stuck like this for over ten minutes. What the heck do I do????? I've been trying to get the game to update for over an hour now. Something that might be of note is that since I don't have enough space on my laptop, I have the sims 4 installed on an external drive that is plugged in to my laptop. But that's never caused any issues before. It's never gotten this badly stuck for so long before. Help???
Multiple EA Games go to Activation Screen on Launch
Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age 2 go to activation screen when attempting to launch. Won't accept credentials or keys. None of the steps above worked. Mass Effect, DAI and DAO launch. I suspect because I haven't tried to repair or reinstall them. It seems that since the Origins server appears to have been shut down in April, games can't find server to validate credentials or keys.FC26 controller not working PC (Ea App)
Good day I am having an issue with any controller I connect when playing FC26 via the EA App. I noticed that when connecting my controller whether it be PS4 controller, Xbox controller or My Pro controller newly purchased the controller is connected via cable but the minute the game starts up my light of the controller turns off and goes into the charging state... I can play any game mode offline but when playing ultimate team the controller responds in squads and rush but I can only pass, shoot and lob when playing Rivals. I know its an on going issue but every time i try with any controller it disconnects me and I get a disconnecting notice. Its frustrating. I have tried updating my GPU, windows and game, I have set the FPS to 60 with vsync on and off and sometimes my controller responds for 5 seconds and then i get the message that I must connect my controller before i forfeit the match. I tried playing with keyboard when that happens but even my keyboad doesnt respond .i have to completely close the game and restart for my keyboard to respond. Is there any solution yet as I see that its still under investigation. This is frustrating cause I cannot finish the timed objectives and its all because i cannot complete the rivals part of the objectives. Please help me get a solution ASAP Regards VERY FRUSTRSTED WITH EA PLAYER!!!!
I have tried everything and nothing works
Hi everyone, like the title mentions, I have tried everything, and nothing seems to be working. There is nothing online that covers my issue.... I would really love to play my game soon.... any tips, advice, or YouTube tutorials are welcome. I am a Mac user...please, helpSims won't download
This is the third time I have updated sims 4 and my saves were gone, mods wouldnt work, etc. Suddenly EA is making me redownload the game. My pets add-on is not downloading. This game **bleep**ing sucks now. I cleared my cache, moved old save file and mod file to current sims folder. Nothing is working. It keeps saying download is paused then when I continue download it says I need to enable disk permissions. I did that!!! Still won't work. It is beyond frustrating considering I have played over 400 hours of this game just for it all to be for nothing. EA is a joke. Please help. I am so confused at this point.
Cant install EA app "Installation Timed Out"
I just bought EA FC26 and needed to install the EA app and every time i try to install it i get this error message "Installation Timed Out" and i have tried every possible method including the recommended BK file thing in other discussions please help otherwise i have wasted my money Thanks
I cannot buy any games.
I have been trying to buy 2, Sims 4 games but it will not let me. when I enter my payment info then click buy it says there was an issue with your payment. It charges my card $1.00, that means my card is good and it is. I use it almost every day with no issues. I tried to report this to the EA help and even called them they have yet to answer my support ticket and when i call they never answer the phone or they do answer and i get put on hold and they never come back on the call. The last time i tried to buy two games during one of the sales it gave me the message but said try again or try back later. each time i tried again it charged my card $1.00 for a total of $29.00 and I never got the money back like it says it will within 24 hours. today I want to buy the same two games. I have a new card but i do not want to be charged to death by the $1.00 charges EA already has $29.00 of my money they never gave back. How do I get this corrected so I can buy games again and hopefully get my $29.00 back? Thank YouDoes EA Support even exist? No response, chat doesn't work
I have been trying to get help from EA to restore my account for months, even years, and I always give up because I can't get any help. I have tried the chat, and it just endlessly cycles a circle on my screen. I have tried X, facebook, no where can I find anyone from actually EA that has ever responded to my issue, and I can't even "Open a case". Can someone from EA please contact me so I can continue to use my own account?Owned packs not available in game
Hello, I recently moved all of my data from my old PC to my new one, I originally had packs through Steam but have also purchased packs in the EA app before. I have downloaded the game via Steam and can see most of the packs I own through both Steam and the EA app except for the 4 attached. I own all of them via the EA app and although they are showing under my owned content, I cannot select them in game. I've cleared my cache and repaired the game via Steam with no luck. Please help!Games don't open from EA app
Whenever I press play on a game from the EA app, the game never open. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app, clearing EA app cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the games, running the EA app as administrator, running the game as administrator. Nothing has worked. One work around I have found for Star Wars Battlefront 2 is opening it from a mod manager instead which works but for other games like Dragon Age Inquisition I don't know of any other ways to open the game so I can't play them.
Unable to download game
I have had a lot of issues with the Sims 4 on the EA app on my Mac. The first issue being that the error code 10005 comes up and says that the EA app cannot connect to the servers. When I restart my mac, I am able to open the app. But if I close the app, I cannot open it again until I restart my mac. When I first got back onto the app, I was unable to download the latest update on the Sims 4 game and couldn’t access it. I tried everything and then thought that deleting my game and reinstalling it would work. However, I am now unable to download the game again as it stops every time I try. I have tried using an Ethernet cable, using my phone data (which seems to work but I don’t have enough data for) as well as my WiFi, but nothing is working. Does anybody know what else I can try as I’ve run out of options!
