Stay Over Event Update
I was playing the Sims 4 and my sims parents are divorced, I would like Mom to have the daughter on every other weekend, but I do not want to have to edit this on Manage Worlds every time to move my child from one home to another. I am shocked that when this stay over system was integrated into the game this feature was not all ready on it for the thought process of divorced families. So my idea is to be able to select the house you would like to have the stay over at, so this can be at a friends house you stay the night at or at the other parents house for a weekend, or even staying with grandparents while the parents have a weekend alone. This could really change my game and I would love to see this added into the game. Right now the current system set up is you press start the stay over event and you select who you want to have at your home. You cant really decide if you want to stay over somewhere. If we could update this system to really flesh out story telling that would be nice. Sincerely BobbySimming :)Sims 4 won't update- stuck on preparing
I've had this issue before but this is the first time where I haven't been able to resolve it myself. Trying to install the update for Sims 4 but every time it gets stuck on 'preparing'/3% infinitely. I have tried everything I can think of-- restarting the app, restarting my computer, clearing the cache, running EA app as administrator, limiting download speed, not limiting download speed, even tried these multiple times. Nothing that has worked before is working this time. Some attempts it would flash between 3% and 0% before repeatedly saying there was an unknown error, other times it just gets stuck and does nothing, always at the same spot. Just now, I tried pausing the download and restarting the EA app again, but now the app itself is frozen on the 'connecting to the EA app' popup with the logo, and it has been stuck like this for over ten minutes. What the heck do I do????? I've been trying to get the game to update for over an hour now. Something that might be of note is that since I don't have enough space on my laptop, I have the sims 4 installed on an external drive that is plugged in to my laptop. But that's never caused any issues before. It's never gotten this badly stuck for so long before. Help???
Multiple EA Games go to Activation Screen on Launch
Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age 2 go to activation screen when attempting to launch. Won't accept credentials or keys. None of the steps above worked. Mass Effect, DAI and DAO launch. I suspect because I haven't tried to repair or reinstall them. It seems that since the Origins server appears to have been shut down in April, games can't find server to validate credentials or keys.
Custom Avatar not Working
I can't upload an image to replace my avatar. I am going into the EA app clicking on "My Profile" then clicking on "Manage". It will then take me to the Account Management web page. When I click on the little pencil button next to my avatar the only option that comes up is "Choose from gallery". There is no "Upload Image" option.FC26 controller not working PC (Ea App)
Good day I am having an issue with any controller I connect when playing FC26 via the EA App. I noticed that when connecting my controller whether it be PS4 controller, Xbox controller or My Pro controller newly purchased the controller is connected via cable but the minute the game starts up my light of the controller turns off and goes into the charging state... I can play any game mode offline but when playing ultimate team the controller responds in squads and rush but I can only pass, shoot and lob when playing Rivals. I know its an on going issue but every time i try with any controller it disconnects me and I get a disconnecting notice. Its frustrating. I have tried updating my GPU, windows and game, I have set the FPS to 60 with vsync on and off and sometimes my controller responds for 5 seconds and then i get the message that I must connect my controller before i forfeit the match. I tried playing with keyboard when that happens but even my keyboad doesnt respond .i have to completely close the game and restart for my keyboard to respond. Is there any solution yet as I see that its still under investigation. This is frustrating cause I cannot finish the timed objectives and its all because i cannot complete the rivals part of the objectives. Please help me get a solution ASAP Regards VERY FRUSTRSTED WITH EA PLAYER!!!!
I have tried everything and nothing works
Hi everyone, like the title mentions, I have tried everything, and nothing seems to be working. There is nothing online that covers my issue.... I would really love to play my game soon.... any tips, advice, or YouTube tutorials are welcome. I am a Mac user...please, helpSims won't download
This is the third time I have updated sims 4 and my saves were gone, mods wouldnt work, etc. Suddenly EA is making me redownload the game. My pets add-on is not downloading. This game **bleep**ing sucks now. I cleared my cache, moved old save file and mod file to current sims folder. Nothing is working. It keeps saying download is paused then when I continue download it says I need to enable disk permissions. I did that!!! Still won't work. It is beyond frustrating considering I have played over 400 hours of this game just for it all to be for nothing. EA is a joke. Please help. I am so confused at this point.Purchased Madden 26 on Epic Games but still don't "own it"
I've linked my EA games app with Epic Games. If I unlink the accounts I can't re-link them until Feb of next year! I clicked to install my new game and it opens EA app to download it. Cool. The EA app doesn't say it's linked to Epic Games but my EA account on web browser DOES say I'm connected. I try to launch Madden in EA app and it says I don't own it? Completely useless! Going to request a refund if this isn't fixed in the next 24 hours.Persistent EC:105 Gallery Error — Confirmed Account-Based Issue, Not System
Hello, I'm reporting a persistent EC:105 error in The Sims 4 (Mac), which has been ongoing for several weeks. After exhaustive troubleshooting and direct contact with EA support, I can now confirm this issue is tied to my EA account — not my system, game files, or installation. Here is what I have done so far: – Fully uninstalled and reinstalled The Sims 4 and the EA App – Deleted all EA and Sims-related files from Application Support and Documents – Cleared all caches (EA App, game, system) – Removed all Mods and Custom Content – Emptied the Tray folder completely – Started a clean macOS user account – Installed only the base game, without any DLCs – Created a new save, new Sim, and tried to save a Gallery item locally – Error EC:105 appears instantly, even in this clean setup This proves the problem is not local — it is tied to my EA account's gallery or cloud data. Support agents were unable to escalate the case, and instead referred me to the forum. I am posting here in the hope that: - A Community Manager can escalate this issue to the technical team - Other players who face this same error can confirm or upvote - EA becomes aware that some gallery-linked account data is likely corrupted The EC:105 error renders core game functions (saving to Gallery, using builds) unusable. I have purchased many packs and rely heavily on the Gallery — this makes the game unplayable for me. Please escalate this case. I am happy to provide logs, screenshots, or a case number if needed.
