EA App/Launcher won't email verification code
I'm trying to play Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Requiring Steam is bad enough but now I discover that the EA App is also required. This of course requires a login. Went through all the setup and now when I launch the game I need to log into EA app (annoying) but the game still won't start. It want a verification code. I click the send button and nothing happens. I click the resend button and still nothing happens. Please note that I have already done this exchange successfully when I created the account. Now nothing. If I can't get this resolved soon I will be removing the game and requesting a refund since it is not working.0Views0likes0CommentsSkate 4 Crash
Hello. I just got skate. for PC this week and I downloaded it. When I click the play button in the EA app, it'll launch the game. When I click start on the main menu, I cant make it past configuring. The game crashes and sends me back to the EA app. Any suggestions? Hello EA Support, I am unable to launch my EA-purchased game due to a license issue. When launching the game, I receive the following errors: "We've noticed your computer is currently offline. To activate your game on this computer using your EA Account, you'll need to connect to the Internet." "The game license has expired – Error code: EC:204" However, I am fully connected to the internet and successfully logged into the EA App. I have already tried: Reinstalling EA App and EA AntiCheat Clearing EA App cache and program data Running EA App as administrator Flushing DNS, resetting network settings Using mobile hotspot instead of broadband Creating a new Windows user profile Booting into Safe Mode with Networking Ensuring system time and region are correct (Bangladesh) Allowing EA App through Windows Firewall Despite all this, the game still won’t launch. EA App works fine otherwise — it logs in successfully, but the license will not refresh. Request: Please help refresh or activate the license from your server side. Hello! I saw a few posts about this happening on Mac, but the one I saw had no responses of help, but seeing other having issues I wanted to also post something just in case! As I mentioned, I'm on Mac, and I was having some issues on a game I was playing (The Sims 4, where it was claiming I was not connected to the internet and I wanted to use the gallery) so I decided to quit the game and reopen through the app, and it said I was "back online" (never was offline), and to reopen the app to begin playing online. So, I did as it said to, and then the app began to rapid-fire ask for permission to have admin. Now, I myself don't have admin controls, nor know the password since the computer still technically belongs to my dad since it's his old work laptop. It's been about two hours since, and the app can open now, but has problems even showing up. I can get the page itself to show up, but nothing appears and it only shows up when I click on a top bar option. I got an error code originally as well saying EC:106, which I have no idea what it means. Any help for a fix would be fantastic! Hi, I'm dealing with a super frustrating issue. I bought Battlefield 1 on Steam and it launched successfully the first time. I played it once with no problems. But ever since then, the game refuses to launch. When I click "Play" on Steam, the EA App opens, the Battlefield 1 splash/loading screen appears for a second, and then everything just closes. No error message, no crash report — nothing. Just a quick flash and it dies silently. Here’s what I’ve tried (none of it worked): - Fully uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App (including clearing AppData and ProgramData folders) - Verified game files via Steam - Tried running both Steam and EA App as administrator - Cleared EA App cache - Re-linked Steam and EA accounts - Tried launching the game directly via EA App - Checked for DirectX and VC++ redistributables - Disabled EA App beta - Even tried a different USB port (since I’m running the game from an external SSD) I also tried all suggested solutions from other forum threads. Nothing works. It makes no sense — if my system was incompatible, why did the game launch fine the first time? It seems like EA App is crashing internally during the handshake with Steam or the game, but I can’t even capture the error message — the window closes before anything shows up. Any help or response from EA would be appreciated. At this point, I’m just really disappointed and tired of troubleshooting a game I paid for. I'm on my Mac and the app will not open. The icon just bounces a couple times and the top of the screen suggests the app is open as it has the 'ea app-account-friends-window-help' stuff and it's clickable, but nothing else happens -- no popup saying there's an error or anything. I've uninstalled the app + redownloaded, replaced the app several times, restarted Mac, cleared cache through app recovery, manually cleared cache through {finder>go>go to finder>~/library and /library} and then deleted all of what needed to be deleted as well as from my internal disk(MacIntosh HD), I've cleared all EA aspects from activity monitor and also used EAhelpLauncher. NOTHING has worked. When I manually cleared everything from finder, it did load briefly for me to login to EA again, but then when I tried to boot the app it didn't open. At first i couldn't open sims, then i couldn't open sims via the launcher, then i couldn't open the launcher at all. Now i cant even uninstall the launcher. Today i tried opening the ea app several times, but it ALWAYS showed me the same Background Services crashed error, i tried everything from the most common switchng the service mode from manual to automatic, to disinstalling and reinstalling and even tried installing the app on another user on my pc (Chatgpt asked me to), at this point i dont know what to do, i've tried so many things that chatgpt is telling me to try and repair WINDOWS ITSELF or formatting the pc. I cannot for the life of me get the ea app to open on my macbook. I have deleted and reinstalled, I have restarted my macbook, nothing is working. I download the app and when I try to open it it bring up a pop up saying 'EA app wants to make changes' asks me to put in my password. I put it in and it does the shakey thing to suggest its wrong (its not I have also reset it multiple times) and it crashes. Every single time. My macbook is running on Sonoma 14. I cant find anything about why this is happening. Hello, I'm experiencing an issue when trying to launch "They Are Billions" through the EA App. Each time I click "Play", I get this error: "The game could not be launched due to an error on our end." I originally purchased the game on Origin, and it is correctly listed in both: My EA App library My purchase history However, since the migration from Origin to EA App, the game no longer launches. Here's what I’ve tried: Cleared EA App cache Reinstalled the game Launched the .exe directly as administrator Checked permissions and install path Verified firewall/antivirus settings Fully uninstalled and reinstalled EA App (including deleting all EA-related folders from AppData and ProgramData) Made sure I'm logged into the correct EA account None of these resolved the issue. Support problem: I attempted to open a support case, and one was created. When I opened my game after updating it, it didn't have any of my packs installed. It's been a few months since I played, so I just figured that was why (it's happened before and been fine), so I went through the EA app and set all my owned packs to install but they keep getting to 95% installed, then pausing with an error pop up saying "The game failed to install or update". "We couldn't update pack name due to an access denied error". It goes on to mention antivirus software, so I tried uninstalling my antivirus and restarted my laptop, but it's still giving me the error.
