Resolution to San Van Buck, Removal Glitch
My problem has been resolved, where I lost 500 SVB due to a glitch. Which occurs when redeeming things in the Skate. Pass and SVB is used also to buy something from the shop (in my case the ‘Red Thrasher Hoodie’… Resolution: I was in the ‘Report a Bug’ Forum and decided to message (couple days ago) a EA Dev directly in one of the posts there. Later today, whilsts doing my Skate. daily task realised I had +500SVB added to my account and the Dev I messaged replied saying he sent my issue to the correct person. Try this out if you encountered the same problem as me👍🏿
Some small adjustments that would make a tremendous difference…
Firstly, the movement whilst turning, cruising, and wall riding is extremely stiff… this is easily rectified. Secondly, can we please address the magnetism into grinds and slides… even at 0% assist, I’m still being forced into nose/tail slides whilst trying to pinch grinds. many thanks, JFully Localised Achievement not loading...
I have 11k rip score level 10 everywhere, where is my achievement?? Steam says 9797 rip score when game says just over 11k now. Also multiple graphical and arificating glitches navigating this terrible games menu's, EA sort this sh** out, it's been way too long coming for this slop, you owe it to your fanbase.
GRAPHICAL NITPICK - add an option to remove changing window reflections
there's an issue where depending on camera position the game decides to unload area specific cubemaps and use the basic cubemap - it often flickers between both. this looks very distracting. this also applies to reflective surfaces like walls as well, it's like they flicker between a lighter and darker shade- but windows are the most distracting I suggest an option that uses the basic universal cubemap (the one with just clouds and basic terrain with no buildings) either this or actually fix how the cubemaps work, I play on minimum most of the time and I dont notice the issue, but when I use higher settings the game uses area specific cubemaps which is cool - if they actually worked. having to export my clips in minimum when near any windows doesn't feel like an ideal solution Overall the windows are pretty lifeless anyway - if Full Circle plans on further design overhauls on the city, instead of just making everything dirtier I think having actual window textures would be nice - hopefully fixing the cubemaps along the way EDIT: found a workaround where if I switch to Ultra and immediately export as fast as possible it wont flicker to the basic cubemap for some reason - but eventually it will again after some waiting and scrubbing through the replayComplete Skate. Rip Score Unlock List (All Titles & Banners up to 30K)
I couldn’t find a full list of the Rip Score banner and title unlocks anywhere online, and since the game doesn’t let you preview them or see where a title originally unlocked after getting it, I decided to put the list together myself. I went through a lot of gameplay videos and streams and matched every banner and title to the correct Rip Score milestone. At the moment the final Rip Score milestone unlocks at 30,000, which gives the “Better Than You” title and Skater Characters 10 banner. The banner themes progress like this: Graffiti 1 → 10 (250 – 3,300 Rip Score) Skateboard Evolution 1 → 10 (3,800 – 11,000 Rip Score) Skater Characters 1 → 10 (12,500 – 30,000 Rip Score) Full list below. I think I can do most of it solo, but the number of glitches and bugs happening that slow me down and take time off my runs is really annoying. I will randomly darkslide catch when I'm not trying to, I will fall next to a ledge and take 7 seconds to get back up, I will sometimes not get up and get respawned nearby, which also takes time away from this timed challenge. ImpervaTek literally was made so we can't get hurt, so why can't I get up from where I'm lying pretty much all the time? I'm not impatient. I like that I can stay on the ground after a bail, but even when I don't try to get up, I still will get reset. I've had to reset after sliding near a bench, a railing, falling on a flower patch, barely hanging off a ledge, lying next to a parked car, etc. It's hard to like this game. It doesn't feel rewarding when the game consistently gets worse and worse.Weird bug with falling???
Found something that might be a bug or a dumb “feature” when trying to launch my character through the trash chute on the side of the parking garage right in front of the church. In season 2 the game let me fall all the way down but now it automatically “unstuck”s me even though I’m not stuck?? You can recreate it by ragdolling next to quite a few props/walls where the game will almost immediately reset you even if you don’t touch anything and you’re not stuck. Need someone’s help finding out if this is a bug or not?Bringing back the classic dynamic camera angle
I really liked how the camera angle in the older games was a lot more dynamic and focused on the skateboard. It zoomed in a lot more than the new one does when you do stuff like grinds and manuals, and it just felt more like you were being followed by a skater with a camera. It would be so cool to see it return. I did a little mockup in the replay editor to simulate it.Season 3 Crashing over and over
It all started Saturday. I crashed once while playing with a streamer I watch on TikTok. After that, I figured out the only way to open the game and play for any meaningful amount of time is to open a browser while the game loads in the background. Idk why this helps but it does. But it seems like everytime I hit a sick clip after a hundred tries and go to the video editor it kicks me out. I'm not one to complain because free game. But I was wondering if anybody knows what could be causing me all these crashes? I've uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, repaired javelin, uninstalled javelin, reinstalled javelin, allowed Skate thru firewall, reinstalled graphics drivers, gave skate permissions, all in all the only thing that works for me is loading up with the game minimized but even then I still eventually crash everytime. I am getting kind of annoyed by this because I was in the middle of editing this clip I spent 30 minutes trying to get right and mid-edit the game just shuts off no save function for disconnects or anything like that. I basically have to export a crappy non-edited version of my clips immediately or I wont get em at all.
Dead franchise
This game has driven me crazy. Collision bugs, falling in the middle of the road, and now, the cherry on top: bugged Skate Pass missions. And on top of that, a new season with a paid map! Wow, you've killed the franchise. I logged into the game thinking I could at least have some fun, but unfortunately, you have to pay for pixels. In addition to that, many things are poorly thought out. For example, there's no option to launch a mission in group search mode, the skate shop doesn't look like a skate shop at all, and there are no items purchasable without real money in the Skate Pass—only 5 items that are actually interesting and look good. The map is too small and too round, giving the impression of red poison in a jar. Where are the downhill runs, the forests, the construction zones, etc.? You might say it's Grom Island, but I'm not paying for that. And when will we get a skatepark editor?
