Cas/Build/Live Mode not responding
For some reason right when the adoption welcome wagon for the cats & dogs came to my neighborhood I adopted a dog I liked, I was going into Cas just so I can fix up the dog perfectly for my sim when for some reason I couldn’t click on anything. I fumbled my controller around, pressing all the buttons but the cursor would not come back so I had to press R3 a couple times & it highlighted over like the exit cas, save cas, or randomize buttons so I had to cancel what I was doing. Back into live mode whenever I click on something to create an action it’s like I haven’t clicked that specific thing, the cursor would highlight something totally different & it disappears so I have to fumble with the controller until I can press R3 so I can be able to click something. Did the same in build mode so I had to just close out the game completely. It did that like twice & idk what to do…Sims 4 won't open on my xbox.
I've been having an issue with the sims 4 taking so long to open I get an error message to close it, wait 10 seconds, and try again. None of my other games have this issue and it's not because of my internet. Do I need to Uninstall and reinstall it? I'm playing on an Xbox series x qnd been having this problem for a week now.PS4 to PS5 update?
I don't have any issues. I'm just shocked that EA doesn't allow a Sims 4 to use the next GEN hardware. I'm not talking about an update either or anything. Just patch to teach the game to read/use the next GEN hardware????? The game is basically reading everything like it's a PS4 still? :/ especially with the new DLC being a little more heavy. Granted you're changing how it reads the entire architect of a machine. But still, I can't beat that hard. Like I said it's not like we're asking for an enhancement. Just a fourth to read the new hardware and use it.Presaved game options doesn't save when logging back into game
Hi everyone I play regularly on the PS5, every time I go on I need to resave my audio and controls legend options.Is everyone else having the same issues? Also since prior to the fairies update I've found the whole game really glitchy. Anyone else? Thanks for reading 🙂No rotate in build mode with roof or other built objecs.
Hi all, as above, since the last update I can now no longer rotate any build objects like roofs, build rooms and so on. It just flies through other options and doesn't allow me to rotate using R1/L1 and just switches to the tool bar along the top. It's frustrating and has made build mode less enjoyable and easy to use. If I want to make a corresponding room or bit of roof the same height and shape I can only copy but not rotate. Hi, can we please get a better saving system please. I always save frequently but since the new update almost every time I save the game crashes, its really not making me wanna play as im loosing loads of progress. Im on ps5, and tips to get this problem to go away would be appreciated. Thanks in advanceXbox one , no Gallery
There’s so many bugs on Xbox console but since the new faeries pack I can’t access the gallery! I can go to my library but not the gallery it doesn’t have the option to even switch over! And yes my system is connected to the internet and working properly. Another annoying thing I have to create a new save file every 2 weeks or my game will crash , this is especially frustrating because I like to do legacy plays but I can’t due to my game not loading and crashing unless I start a new save!Cats and dogs bundle
So I uninstalled the sims. 4 from my ps4 and when I redownloaded it, all my packs were missing, I then figured out I JSUT had to redownload them all and then I had them back, all except for cats and dogs, when I went to redownload the cats and dogs pack, it didn’t let me because they only sell it in a bundle with my first pet stuff so now it’s forcing me to buy the bundle instead of just the cats and dogs which I had already purchased is there anyway I can get only the cats and dogs dlc and not have it be a bundle?Game crashing since July 2025 update on PS5- version 2.15
Hi, I’m wondering if anyone else who plays on PS5 is having crashing issues after the recent update? My game allows me to go into it and play briefly before it crashes and an error message about “something went wrong with this application” pops up. I have no other save files in the game, and it allows me to save the current one but then a few seconds later completely crashes. I’ve restarted my PS5 and have attempted to play it with the same thing happening. I have all the expansion packs installed except for the latest 3, and on console can’t install mods or CC so that wouldn’t be the issue. if anyone has found a solution to this could you please let me know? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Game says my content is not installed
I have had to restart my game like 5 times at this point I had my sims living in windenburg then my game crashed and restarted and when I loaded back in it said the get together expansion pack was not installed this is super annoying also almost everytime I load up my game all of my saved games are gone I have to restart my console and reload the game to get them backPS4 glitches with season and age
I have restarted my ps4, I have checked for updates, I have even deleted the game and redownloaded the game. My seasons are not working it will say it’s on day seven and never change, it’s raining everyday even tho it’s on winter and when I leave my lot it’s snow everywhere else. And the house is always cold where they wear their coats even tho there is a thermostat. On top of going into options and game play it will not let med turn off the aging or adjust life span, I even tried it with the cheat code and it still does not work. Small things like not being able to drag things to the trash can or sink doesn’t work anymore either, I have a couple that is married yet the prompts says ask to stay the night and other weird ones as if they are not married and live together. I’m not a play all the time person I get in once in a while. And I’m very sadden the past two days have not been enjoyable I had to stop play because there’s too many glitches.ps5 problems
had so many problems with all of the updates lately i can’t play at all. firstly i’ve tried to open the game and it lets me get to the family bit before the loading screen but then it just gets stuck on the plumbob. i’ve tried multiple times but won’t let me access the game. then tried deleting the game and reinstalling everything which finally it let me in but then says stuff like game content has been deleted or not available. i can see some of my builds have been deleted and replaced with the original buildings on the game and most of my family have no clothes or hair so i think the problem is coming from the packs i have installed. but im on playstation so have no mods installed and its so frustrating because i haven’t been able to play for like a month and im worried that if i do play (rebuild my houses or family’s) that either it will get fixed and it will be for nothing or i fix it and it wont save. plus i dont think ill be able to fully fix eveything right at the moment anyways considering my sims are bald and naked gives me the impression that the packs i have bought aren’t currently in my game/ not working. anybody else having the same problem and have any advice?
Major glitching makes game unplayable on PlayStation
After the last 3 updates the game has gotten more unstable. Since the latest update, everytime I click on a saved household the game/whole screen glitches making the game unplayable. I can't move, click on anything or even use the screen at all. I am playing the game on PS4.
