Sims being mean for no reason
Recently my sims have been autonomously mean to each other for no reason . This ruins my gameplay because it immediately drops their relationship status and I have to cancel the save. It seems to be a bug that needs fixing. I don’t use mods since I’m a console user so how exactly I stop this because the game is becoming unplayable
[AA] Is there a guide to triggering formative moments?
I am trying to get my child sim to achieve all the formative moments, and so far she has 24, but I know that is less than half of them. There are some formative moments that I don't know how to trigger, such as "Be Inquisitive about Health". She has played with the doctor set several times; I even bought a second set, but there is never an option for her to take on this formative moment. When I click on her to get her to "take on a formative challenge", it often says that there are no new ones available for her. Is there a guide somewhere to how each formative moment can be triggered (I'm not talking about how to achieve them once they have been triggered)?
Sims4 Gallery Glitch!
Hello! Players who have disabled their comments, their creations are not showing up on their catalog page. However, these creations are showing up on the "popular now" Page". their accounts are not disabled, and they are uploading. I also am able to read and comment on their creations. I know I am not blocked by anyone. Just a gallery glitch, and I would like to see and download from other players catalogs. Please fix. Is there a certain way to make the game generate certain types of townies? For example a married couple with or without children, single father, family with female child, family with male teen, etc. I only have base game, and currently playing with auto age off for unplayed household. I noticed that when the game generates a family, it always a family of single mother with female teen and a male child. And only one randomly generated family that consist of a married couple with male child, and I don’t know what the trigger for it. I tried to go to park or playgrounds a few times, erasing the household that I do not want, to make the game to generate new family with kids, but it always generate a household of single mother, female teen, and male child. I have never seen the opposite type nor any new family of married couple with children again. I am playing on a new save and trying a new gameplay ideas where I mostly control one family and only age up other premade/randomly generated family when I decided to marry a sim from those household. I’m not sure if this is another known issue, but my sims has been giving birth to male babies only for around 5 generations, and I wanted to have a story where my heir marry their BFF from childhood but could not as I could not make the game randomly generate a family with female child, so I just wait until they age up to teen to choose their lifetime partner. I know that there are mods that help to create various type of household but I don’t want to rely on mods. So I would like to know if there a ways to trigger the game to generate certain types of townies. Below are what I noticed from my own observations on how to trigger certain types of sims. Going to park or playgrounds: generate family of single mother with female teen and male child. Going to bar in Oasis Springs: generate female young adults bar regulars. Going to lot with Teen neighborhood trait: Generate single teen (male or female) household (no parents) But I noticed my game have a few single males and females unemployed young adult sims, so I would like to know if there are other triggers to generate those, especially household of married couples, single father and household with female child. Please advise. Thank you.
Scientist coworkers always deny having metals and crystals
I have a sim in the science career who is max friendly with all of her coworkers. Despite this I have not once successfully had a coworker give my sim a metal or crystal when asked nor let her take a DNA sample(which makes it impossible to complete the daily task for it). I cant improve their relationships any more and I'm all out of ideas on how to get this work. This is a brand new save not even a week old, I do have mods but none of them affect the science career in any way shape or form.Game is crashing
The game keeps on randomly crashing. It is making Sims 4 pretty much unplayable as it flashes on and off before going onto the home screen of my computer. The game lags first, freezes and then goes onto the home screen. The sims has also been taking longer to load while this issue has been happening. I use no CC or mods. Please look in to and hopefully fix this.
What is the limit for Crypts?
I haven't played the Sims 4 in nearly 4 years but have been buying each and every DLC (other than most kits) as they go on sale (and the latest one before a sale). Last week I returned to actually playing, starting a whole new game to do the Forever Friends event and continuing from there. Anywho, one of the things I'm doing in the new game is slowly getting all of the different worlds set up (improving/replacing existing lots, filling empty lots, etc.). I have a couple of different cemeteries in place now and would like to know what's the limit on how many urns a "Crypt" can hold? I can't find an answer to this anywhere, but I feel like there has to be some kind of limit. If it's higher, I don't really need more than a crypt or two, which I already have in place, but if it's super low I'll want to add more. (P.S. It's a little overwhelming coming back to 4 years of Game, Expansion and Stuff pack additions. The game has gotten huge in terms of all of the different mechanics and systems present.)
Sims Mannequins only allowing 1 of each outfit category to showcase on lot
Can you allow more outfits to be showcased on lots, specifically the museum lot? I really want to display all the outfits I have unlocked and I love the mannequin feature from Get to Work. It would really make my gameplay so much better and I would feel like my achievements actually mean something. Please respond, even if you won't be able to. This is something that would be game changing for me. Thank you in advance~!
Game Freezes while Saving
The Game freezes when saving, the sims wheel goes around but the save is frozen. I've waited up to 10 minutes with the screen frozen and have to Cntrl Alt Del and shut down the sims. When loading back into the game, the game never saved. It occurs randomly, but occurs more often when playing a longer game.Plants won’t grow if Sim being played isn’t in the area
Plants (including wild plants) do not grow unless the sim being played is in the area. This limits the ability to harvest wild plants and then go home and plant them. If you aren’t on your home lot by 5 AM, your garden doesn’t grow that day. This seemed to start after installing Seasons. Initially encountered this issue on PS4, but it remains on PS5.Household will not load
I play on PC If I click to play on any household it will not load, it takes me to the loading screen and just takes me back to the map. Ive tried different households, I tried starting a new save, I tried restoring previous saves. I have removed all my mods out of my folder. I have also clicked the repair button on my EA app. I have removed the whole sims file out of my folder to make a new one and everything worked fine on that one - obviously I don’t want to restart absolutely everything but idk if there’s a way for me to use that new game file to fix this old one? Im struggling for options now and don’t know how to fix it, it genuinely won’t let me play on any game lot, it lets me go on create a sim. Ive had no error messages pop up. I am scared to delete or move any files other than my mods as I don’t want to break it even more and I don’t want to loose my saves or any of my sims outfits etc. Update: It managed to load me onto a household which I am slightly confused at because I then left the game and added my mods back in and it’s now not working again. Yet all the mods I added back in are newly updated mods so I’m confused how they could be an issue.Everything on the gallery is corrupt
I have tried everything from removing all CC, resetting cache, repairing the game, to completely deleting and uninstalling the game, then reinstalling, however my gallery remains corrupt. Every time I open the gallery, what is meant to be photos comes up as red crosses, and if I try to click on something, it alerts me that the lot/room/household is corrupt and asks if I would like to delete (which I can't because the build doesn't belong to me).
No Mods Folder
I have not had a mods folder when the game loads for more than 2 years. When I put one in myself, it will not recognize it. I'm over it. haft my stuff from where we all share is missing too. I worked so hard on the Sims and houses. I was a lagsy player (sorry, can't spell). Now they're all gone. But 1 family from the beginning, and i have been through this 2 times before. I'm not playing without mods. So I can get further than where I was in my game. i won't play ur stupid little games for free stuff. ill take my game off my laptop till it's fixed.Can’t go into plots
When I select my family from world view, the game sends me back to the world selection screen. If I try to load an empty lot, I get an error saying to relaunch. I’ve already repaired and relaunched several times and I tried deleting and reinstalling the game to see if it would fix, cleared cache, and it’s still happening.Game crash. Help, attached crash txt file.
help. Game crashed last night, first time ever. My game had a posture error earlier in the game but wasn't anything to worry about. Then one of my sims died of old age and the grim reaper wouldn't reap them and just kept hanging around and it lasted for 5 sim days. I let it try to figure itself out so I didn't have to lose out on saving my game but it ended up crashing anyway. I have MCCC and Basemental Eco Hacks as far as mods go, and no CC. I am confused why this is happening and will be testing my game further tonight. I've had issues with that save before and ended up having to restore it so if I have to scrap it and start over then so be it but if there's something else causing these issues then I would love to know how to fix it so I can keep playing this save. All of my saves are important to me but this one was special since it was my legacy save, I got up to the 7th generation and was so close to getting to the 10th. Please help, if you can, I'm going to attach the crash txt file.
