Sim is tweaking like crazy and Cheat Console Issue
So, I have been playing sims 4 like usual and recently in one of my saves, my sim starts acting crazy like she can't figure out what she wants to do on her own. I can hear multiple clicking sound (likely to notify sim is doing a task on her own) but she just stands in one place looking up, down, left, right really fast as if I set 3x speed on or something. I have attached a video showcasing the issue. Also, I did try loading my other saves with entirely different sim but I didn't face the same issue. Another thing is the cheat console got this weird look to it. Like
Console Problems…
I think the Sims team can remove this from the game, and never had it in. After, the For Rent bugs messed up the save file I had for three years, I decided to save all my sims, lots, etc. and start fresh. Only to find out I can’t add “parent-child” relationships to any of my families, unless they were saved together. Console players we can’t use mods, and can only use some of the cheats. How am I supposed to fix this? I haven’t played in months, when I realized and now that it’s every family, I don’t want to play at all. 😭
Misc Issues
My sims can’t eat anything. Every time they try to get food you can see a little glitch and then the icon disappears. I can’t drag anything from one place to another. I can only place one item in build mode or delete one item and then I have to go to live play and back to build over and over again. I deleted all mods and CC. Game is updated. I have restarted. Updated drivers. Deleted localthumb.package What else besides repair the game can I do? I’m fed up!
Frienship/Romance diminishing for no reason
Hello! I wanted to come here to talk about a problem I've been having lately with the game, my sims lose frienship point for no reason, sometimes just being in the same room or by having friendly interaction. At first I thought it was a feature of enchanted by nature, because I play a lot with the occult so I just thought "Oh my sims grew up and manifested her fairy powers so she must have difficult relationship with some people." which I already thought was weird enough because it was with a Triton she knew her all life but whatever. But now it seems to happen regularly my vampire sims cannot seem to be able to get along with Vladdy for some un explicable reason. Has that already happen to some of you, does anybody know what I can do or what is causing this? Thx ❤️✨
'Resume Play' makes the game close
The game loads in perfectly fine, and brings me to the homepage of my current household. I click "resume play", it loads for a bit and then closes the game entirely. I played yesterday and had no issues, but tried to play three times and it would not let me. I restarted my laptop, to see if that was the issue, but it's definitely the game. Please help. Sincerely, a desperate-to-play simmer.Magic Realm not doing anything
Downloaded the magic realm. so excited. I've 'experimented', learned from the sages, brewed spells. The only spell I can cast is inferniate. Yet it says I have learned everything. Can never find any dirt frog.... the casters alley does NOT sell everything you need for spells...If this is it this is boring! What I am doing wrong? It never said anything about giving motes to a sage. read that in the forum. And it wont let me go back and do it now.
Sims resetting when picking up food
When I instruct my sims to eat (get leftovers, after cooking a meal or picking a serving) the sims reset. I tried repairing the game and it still happened. This started happening after moving the sims to a new home in Chestnut Ridge - Riders' Glen at the biggest lot.
Aspiration/career tasks not registering in gameplay
This is my first bug report, because this bug has become very annoying for gameplay in the Sims 4. I play on a PC (if this helps at all) and the aspirations are not registering when I complete a task. Even career related tasks are not registering. I don't know what is going on, but it has happened ever since the major base game update. I have reset, repaired, and disabled all mods and got rid of them in my folders multiple times now, but nothing has worked. I am hoping others are having the same issue I am because if not, then I really don't know what is going on with my game specifically. It makes it really hard to play if I can't complete aspirations or get promoted in careers. I am also hoping maybe someone else has a different solution to my issue. Possibly. I am at a loss and have not really played anymore as I do enjoy the gameplay of it all more than CAS and build mode. Any help or discussion is very appreciated! Even if no one has a solution or input, at least my report is out there for the EA team to hopefully see. Thank you for your time if you do read this!My Library Sims and Lots
I've been playing a Forever Sims save file since I started playing the game way back when. It's only recently that I've been getting deeper into the game and learning more about it. This past week I've been considering starting a New Game to reset certain aspects on my worlds and Sims BUT I have grown attached to my Forever Sims from my original save file. I have been wondering if when I save my households to My Library, does that include everything ie. earned traits from achievements, household funds, etc.? Or does it just save their appearance and base traits? I don't want to part with years of progress with this Sims. I've created a deep lore for these Sims that I don't want to part ways with just to reset the world. I guess I kind of want to have my cake and eat it too.Sims are getting stuck
I've been having problems for the past few days with my sims or some of the family members *getting stuck*. That is, they won't go to bed but can sleep in the fairy house, they can't take showers, etc. They just stand still until I uncheck and choose something else. Sometimes it can't be solved, I've tried restarting etc. What could be the problem? and how do I solve this! I have no modsKicked back to world maps
Heyy so after the updates my game started hardcore bugging but the main issue is every time I make a new household or load a new one It starts loading and then kicks me back to world select and says error and I should relaunch the game. I have restarted plenty and even deleted all the broken mods I know of but its still happening?? HELP!!!
Move Cemetery to another neighborhood
Hey friends, I was wondering how to move my cemetery out of Glimmerbrook. I plan to remove Realm of Magic from my game. This cemetery consists of my large legacy families, and I made a copy and relocated it somewhere else, but all the urns disappeared. I was wondering if I make it residential, can I move it successfully? Any advise? Thank you.
Sims doing same animation repeatedly
This has happened to me three times now, all the sims around me and including my own sim will be moving in place. The clock does not move and I cannot reset the sims. If I pause the game they continue to move in place bobbing their heads and not doing anything. If I try to save it turns into a infinite saving screen. I am forced to crash the game each time, I am playing un-modded as well.
Neighborhood Stories stopped telling me who is in a relationship.
Hi. Lately neighborhood stories stopped telling me who is dating anymore. I use to get notifications of whose is dating then I would go into those households and move those sims in together if confirmed. When I get break up notifications I would do the opposite. I get break up notifications that are confirmed (thanks for update) and sims getting back together but no new relationship. It has been about 10 in game weeks since “sim1 and sim2 started dating” notification appeared. I thought it was just my main save, so I made a new save on console played about four in game weeks, then did the same with base game pc version no mods. Same results. Any way to fix this? Should I randomly go into households from time to time and check that way they since friendship changes do appear with no issue? Do I need Lovestruck now for this to work?
No option to 'Give Residence Keys'
There is no longer an option to give other sims residence keys. 🔑 It has been like this for years. There is no longer a 'give residence keys' social interaction. If I play in an apartment I can 'give apartment keys' but if I am playing in a residential lot I can not give residence keys to any one. Please fix this bug I really liked this feature since I didn't have to invite visitors in.
