Game lag
My game lags so bad it’s unplayable. I’ve done everything I possibly can to get the lag to stop but it won’t. Something needs to be done I’m not the only one this is happening to. Why spend all this money on a game for them to not fix the issues there’s no reason it should be lagging this bad and my laptop is updated.
Sims 4 Packs Showing as Unowned when Installed
I am currently having an issue where when I launch the game my packs are showing as unowned and I can't play with them despite the fact they are installed. I have attempted to reinstall them all, repair the game and clear the cache yet it is still the same. I do use mods, but I have tried to launch without them installed and the issue persists. Please help as this has made the game unplayable :(Enchanted by Nature install issues?
I bought and installed Enchanted by Nature and have not been able to play it as the game doesn't seem to know it has been installed. I have tried Restarting EA app Clearing EA app cache Restarting game, EA app and PC all before trying the game again Uninstalling and reinstalling the addon Repairing the game Removing mods and CC and redoing all of the above It is driving me mental. When I start the game, it gives me the notification pop up saying things I can do in the new addon, but when I click them, they bring me to the main lessons page because the addon info isn't there in the lessons page. When I go to manage worlds, it says the addon isn't installed and to download it and restart the game to install it. Has anyone had this and managed to get it resolved? It is breaking my brain.
Sims 4 crashes when resuming game
WHY CANT THIS WORK!! ok so i open my sims 4 game, mind you theres no cc no nothing BASE GAME so when i open my game and then i click on resume game im met with the game half way into loading and my computor crashing, I CANT BE THE ONLY ONE GOING THROUGH THIS ive checked multiple tuts and NOTHING NOTHING!!!i havent even got the time to put mods and cc i got a new pc and everything uninstalled sims 4 a billion times and still not workkingg!! IM TIRED PLS HELP [CM - Edited title for clarity]
Purchased packs not in game.
Since the update before royalty and legacy the expansion packs/kits that I had bought previously just stopped existing in game. It says that they are installed in teh EA app but they are not in my game. I have tried unistalling the packs/kits but that didn't help. I don't know what to do so if anyone knows what is happening or why, that would be great.Help! I can't find where to download
For Rent and Adventure Awaits are telling me that I neeed to download. These packs were a gift which I submitted a code for to get them. I don't remember seeing the download button for them when I entered code. I am not seeing anywhere that I can download them. My account name is DSimsmom.
Game not launching
I've tried the clean folder approach and it's not working for me. I not only can't get past the black screen, I can't even force the app to generate a new folder. Repairing in the EA app doesn't help. The game I guess won't launch far enough to generate a new folder? At this point I am completely baffled. I have, and I am not exaggerating, tried EVERYTHING multiple times: Deleted every single mod. Moved the Sims 4 folder to the desktop. Fully deleted the Sims 4 folder (I'm coming back to the game so there wasn't anything in there I really wanted to salvage) Restarted my computer. Checked graphics drivers. Checked the AMD app (built in driver like tool for the graphics card). Tried to launch from the EA app, the desktop icon, the icon pinned to the start menu, the shortcut in the program files, and tried to run as administrator from all of them as well. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game and all expansion packs. Repaired the game within the EA app. Fully uninstalled the EA app and the game, then reinstalled from total scratch. Fully quit OneDrive. Disabled all screen overlays from EA and Discord. Disconnected an external hard drive in case it was looking for some old folder. Fully turned off antivirus software. I'm at a loss. I like to consider myself pretty tech savvy and good at troubleshooting, but there's nothing left to try here. I guess I have to wait for a patch, but I'm not gonna lie I'm pretty annoyed about this.Missing expansion packs
When I update my game after not playing for a while some of my expansions packs go missing and I have to talk to an agent to get them back. I always have gotten them back but I just updated my game and the "Get to work" pack was missing from my game and purchase history. I had no proof that I brought it and all the agents I spoke to couldn't find any history of it on my account. Is there any way I can get it back without having to pay again and how do I stop this from happening in the future?
Unable to save anything to library/all of my sims and lots have disappeared
Ive been having this problem for a few day, but I can't save anything to my library, both from the Gallery or my own sims/lots. I'm also missing all of my own sims and lots from the past 3 years, but the lots and sims I had saved from the gallery are still there. It is not a storage issue, I've tried taking out all of my mods, repairing the game, and uninstalling and reinstalling. At this point, I'm at a loss and don't really know what else I can do. Hello, I tried to upload sims on the gallery recently and it suddently stopped working. I uploaded a family in a new save (I don't have any mods or cc in this, it's a completely new folder and game) without problem, even two times because I realised that I missed something so I deleted it then uploaded it again, then after deleting two or three other creations I tried to upload another sims family to the gallery and got the error message that my request can't be processed by the gallery and try later. I tried to repair my game multiple times, move back to direct 9, get a new folder, upload directly instead of first saving it to my gallery, tried to upload from cas, the main menu, inside the new save, waiting to see if it'll still upload, nothing worksmy game does not open
When I try to open The Sims 4, I get the message "It failed to start due to an error on our end." I've tried the following steps, but the problem persists: 1. I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App and The Sims 4. 2. I backed up the Documents folder and cleaned the localthumbcache.package file. 3. I ran it as administrator and uninstalled mods. 4. I checked for EA App updates and performed a repair. 5. I temporarily disabled my antivirus and firewall. The game still won't open. Please check if the issue is related to licensing or authentication.
Game crashing with no mods
My game keeps crashing about 3 minutes into playing in live mode. I have tried everything. I deleted all mods, reinstalled the game, deleted all sims 4 related folders, repaired the game, cleared EA app cache, updated drivers, started new save files. Nothing is working. The game works fine in CAS and when moving sims in but crashes in live mode. I am not sure what to do from here. I attached the crash report below. Please help :(Household Disappearing
I am playing on PC via Steam, and recently started experiencing one of my households disappearing. I played as the household and after I saved then exited, I came back to see a different household in the menu. I clicked resume and tried to switch to the other household through manage worlds, but their lot is just an empty house, everything is there but the family. During this they don't show up in my played households nor my other households and aren't in the relationship panels of the Sims in the household it switched to (they're family, legacy save). I went back to the menu and recovered a save that had the family. I play as normal, save, exit - same thing happens again. Over the course of days now I've done eveything I can find on Google: verifying my files via Steam (a few times), clearing cache, trying to use "save as" instead of save, uninstalling & reinstalling the game - and sometimes I'd be safe and get to keep my progress, but eventually I'd end up with the same problem. I've exhausted all the information I can find and all the things I can think of and nothing fully fixes it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
