Why did this happen? Green sim had blue baby
So i am playing the NotSoBerry challenge. And my main Sim (Callie) is white and her husband is green. They had a baby (Azure) which was green. Azure aged up and had a baby with a white Sim. Her baby ended up blue??? Im just confused how on the blue popped up.Solved82Views0likes2CommentsLife and Death pack doesn't work at all.
Whenever my sim tries to reap, it can't complete any of the goals beyond getting its first assignment. Even researching on its own computer stops the sim's actions and clears any queued actions (if I had any at all). I deleted the mods I suspected were affecting it and restarted my computer, but it's still not working. tldr: I literally can't do anything with the expansion pack except visit the world that comes with it and select the Reaper career. Gourmet Cooking Skill Tree not Appearing
My Sim has Gourmet Cooking unlocked and can prepare Gourmet Cooking recipes normally, but the Gourmet Cooking skill does not appear in the Skills panel. Because the skill is missing from the UI, my Sim is unable to complete the Master Chef aspiration, even though the Sim is actively using Gourmet Cooking interactions. The game clearly recognizes Gourmet Cooking as unlocked and usable, but the skill itself is not being tracked or displayed.Solved51Views0likes1Comment
Pay rent unavailable.
[ no cc ; only mccc ] per title, my household can't pay rent. They can pay bills just fine but the NPC landlord has been bugging my sim to pay their rent and . . . she can't! There's no option. Foundation Over Lowered Terrain Disappears
So I am on PC, and I am trying to build a castle with several decorative moats. I do not have mods, nor have I ever used them. I recently cleaned my computer (cookies, cache, etc). I even went in and deleted cache and the others in the Sims 4 folders itself (Sims was running heavy and I could not figure out why, so I did a cleanse). This issue began about a week ago. So far, I have not added water. I have the terrain built and the general outlines of buildings created. I have walkways created. The terrain is lowered to 1 basement level down, with two floors below (but not under the moat areas) However, when I go to fence in the walkways, closing the fence creates a floor. Upon deleting the floor, the foundations vanish. I have tried rebuilding sections at a time to no avail. I cannot get the foundation to reappear. I have even scrapped the project and started over. My sims haven't been able to cook for at least a week now(real time). They keep getting the "movement error" bubble for seemingly no reason. I've delete the local cache folder multiple times and only once after that was one of my 2 sims able to cook a meal. After that, no dice. I've made sure nothing is in the way(moved items with bb.moveobjects off), ceiling light included. I'm playing in Innisgreen and I was able to get my sim to cook a cake for her daughter at the starsong lounge after adding counters, a sink, oven, and fridge. I've tried moving my sims to a new house in a new neighborhood, I've had them visit another lot and then come back, changed the stove, counters, AND fridge - nothing. Both sims in my household are getting the error whether I choose "cook", "have [meal]", "serve [meal]" - doesn't matter. I am this close to throwing my laptop, what is going on??? Scouts can't donate on the computer/mailbox

Keeps going back to World Screen
Every time I create a sims family and move it into a house my game keeps return's me back to the would menu. I have uninstalled the EA app and my mods. And then reinstalled them. I have restarted my computer looked up ideas on what I need to do so I can play. And nothing has work. Even when I click on the family's that are already in the game it does it again. Hey, My game keeps closing itself whenever i attempt to move my sims household to a different lot, i use mods in game but all mods are updated. to figure out of mods were the issue i removed every single one and loaded the game up and tried again but i still the game keeps closing whenever i try and move my sims family. the same error code keeps appearing which is "object_Food_PlateFork_Multi' object has no attribute 'bucks_trackers_gen' (AttributeError: 'object_Food_PlateFork_Multi' object has no attribute 'bucks_trackers_gen')" I'm not to sure what this means. i repaired the game without the mod and restarted laptop but the issue still remains. has anyone else been having this issue after the sims update? As stated I cant attend prom and haven't been able to since purchasing it a month ago. The whole DLC is a bit glitchy. Thus far I have been prompted to go to prom but when I select the sims I want to go with nothing happens and the event disappears off calendar. Ive only been invited to a pre prom gathering once. I attended then suddenly all the other sims disappeared to [prom I assume] and nothing else happened. I can see on social bunny that other sims are posting about prom so its happening somewhere ,but I cannot attend. Now it has gotten to the point I don't receive any notifications about any prom related event. I would really really appreciate some help. Version:Console PS4 No Mods, CC, or Cheats Attempted Troubleshooting: Going into gamplay options and enabling invites. Deleteting other same day events. Trying to request/start career day [I have not experienced this event either] Showing up on campus just before the event. Thanks for reading. Gallery crashed - now won't go online
Hello, my game just crashed after I tried adding a Sim to a new CAS hosuehold. Funnily enough it had said on the comments of that Sim that it had made someone else's game crash after they downloaded it, but I didn't think much of it. Now, after restarting the game, the gallery will no longer connect online. I've deletet the thumb cache, repaired the game, messed with my firewall settings, took out all my mods, etc. and still nothing. I'm sorry if there is a similar thread to this already. This has been an issue for for me for years at this point, but I haven't seen anyone else with this problem. The Basic Bay Windows only work in certain colors. In non-working colors, they won't show up on screen and if I try to place them, it crashes the game completely (the mouse stops working & the only way to fix is to exit the game by force-quitting). Sims 4 event reward without pack?
So, I am doing the log in event but one of the items is linked to having a specific pack which I don't currently had but I want to have it on the future. Would I get the reward even if I do not own the pack or would I lose it because I do not own the pack at this moment. (Sim) does not own this item
All items that you can put in your sims personal inventory now say "(Sim) does not own this item" Have tried moving multiple different types items and get the same result for each one. Not a huge deal for items that can be bought again in build mode, but pictures and items that can't be replicated are a big loss. Buying an item fresh from build mode does work and my sims have ownership of these, but all original items are affected. So! I am LaunchSneezes, formerly Fujicakes, perhaps Fujicakes1 (that was awhile ago, on the old forums). But I deleted that account recently because I haven't played Sims 4 in awhile as I was overwhelmed by all the dlc I had...I know it sounds strange, but I wanted a refresh, I wanted just a base game. When I cut my hair and saw it so much shorter and felt such a wave of happiness, I knew it would be the same way - and I was right! But now the thing is, I saved some of my old houses to my new personal gallery before it was deleted, and I gutted (including all the inside walls and everything) some of them, I am remaking them completely, sometimes the outside included. But - it still links to my old account. I am scared that I'll get banned if I have them on my gallery, so the question is, can I do this, or do I need to just make completely new houses? I never liked making the outside part of houses, I liked to at least have a starting point to work from, so I was kind of glad to think of being able to get a second use out of ones I already made. I already posted one to my gallery and it got almost 30 downloads before I noticed that it linked to my old account and I was like, oh man. As I said, I don't want to get banned, and I don't think they would believe me if I said "that's ME!" Postscript: I don't recommend deleting an account that has a bunch of dlc that you spent a lot of money on - I'm a person who tends to jump into the deep end to learn how to swim (figuratively, not literally - I wouldn't literally put my life in danger that way), and I have deleted and started more Animal Crossing islands and restarted more Animal Crossing towns that I can even remember or count. After using for rent, several other features from other packs stop working correctly. There is no option for prom interactions nor prom showing up at all. Also when trying to create a date, it only allows to pick the type of date and the place where there used to be the actions menu to pick what they could do on their outings. No option for SpongeBob bundle items when kits are bought separately
I brought the new SpongeBob kits; however, I was unaware of the bundle at the time and therefore didn't get the items it includes, as I got them as separate kits. Is there anything I can do to obtain the bundle items? Is there an email anyone knows to contact?
