sim's wont pick up or take care of child, and wont respond
Hi, Im having trouble with my sims, they wont pick up, or interact with one child but the will pick up and take care of another or will completely ignore both children. they will either accept the task or they will go near the child and then have an idea to do something different like sleep or go outside. I am also having trouble with another sims family, the sims will only stay in the bathroom and browse the web, and wont respond to anything. any help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried repairing the game multiple times, and that hasn't worked either. I really don't want to uninstall the app, and Ive heard uninstalling might help, but I only want to do that as a last resort. I've also tried restarting my computer as well. I got a few new mods yesterday so I don't know if that is an issue, or caused an issue? thanks.This Game is a joke and EA should be ashamed
If there is even a human left on the payroll to feel shame, which I doubt. I have most of the packs. OVER AND OVER AGAIN I have spent hours playing, building up characters only to have them mysteriously vanish from the map. They are in my gallery but supposedly can't be moved to the map. No fixes available online work at all. When I try to use the tech support from the menu it just takes me to an error page. I have tried every solution I can find and nothing works. What is the point of paying all that money for games that literally do not work? Spending hours on a scenario just to log in the next day and it's all gone? I'm done. It's not worth it. EA is a scam and all that money we have all paid for glitchy barely functioning content should be refunded. What an absolute joke. But they can spam my email constantly wanting me to buy more. The constant pop ups seem to function just fine. But emails to "tech support" go unanswered or are obviously canned useless copy paste from I guess a bot? I recently just bought 3 add-ons through the "bundle" promotion, and the werewolves and supernatural packs downloaded with no issue, but the For Rent pack never showed up in my library. I have gone into my manage add-ons, and it is not there, and I have "repaired" my game, and that also did not fix it. I am feeling frustrated because that pack was the bulk of the money in the discount, so I want to know how to access it. In the shop, it still lets me add the pack in my cart and proceed with purchasing. I do have a receipt saying I purchased all 3.Expansion Pack not synced to PC from PS4
My cats and dogs expansion pack was bought from my ps4. I logged onto my EA account with my ps4 log in and the EA app uses steam to launch the app. It seems like it uses a different account and no past saves or packs are there? How can I get the expansion packs onto the game?
Suddenly packs missing from my library
Was just playing for a little bit, doing my usual post-game repairs, and 11 packs are suddenly no longer listed in my library. The ones that are left aren't packs I enjoy playing with necessarily, so it's extra galling to suddenly see them listed when the packs I like aren't. Like, you had to take Get to Work and Lovestruck and leave Vampires? Whatever.Sims 4 packs unavailable in game?
So yesterday I bought both the high school years and seasons pack from the EA app. i downloaded both of them but when i went into the game only high school years was running and not seasons. I checked the pack selection and seasons was up under the 'owned packs' category but when i tried to press it it said it was unavailable. does anyone know how to fix this? i've cleared the EA app cache, repaired the app, and restarted EA but nothing has helped
I lost my game data- How do I restore?
Sometime yesterday I was having a problem with my Sims 4 game. I would try to go onto the game but my PC would give me the message “Unable to start, the file appears corrupted.” As one would do, I researched how to get my game to load and came to the conclusion that it was probably an issue with my cache. I cleared the cache for the most part, and then started patching the game. (I use Steam to launch the Sims so I went through the “Verify integrity of game files” process.) Now I’m not a super tech savvy person, so I’m not sure what exactly when wrong along the way but I followed exactly what it said to do on a forum I found. So when I go to play the Sims 4 this morning it takes me to the Main Menu, per usual. However, it only gives me the “new game” option and won’t let me retrieve the game I spent 200+ hours on. It launches perfectly fine now, but like I said, my game is gone. What did I do wrong along the way? Is there anything that can be done to retrieve my game?
Sims 4 Endless Loading Screen
Hey, so ever since the last update, my game is literally unplayable. I get these weird white screens and extreme lag. I also cannot load into the main menu without it taking forever. Once I get to the main menu selection to choose a household, I am still met with an endless loading screen.. my game has been like this for about a month.. I do NOT use any mods or cc. could someone please help me? i reallly would like to play my game again.Sims stand there doing no tasks
I recently added a new expansion pack to my collection, it was horse ranch. Ever since my sims keep getting stuck. I assign them tasks to do or things to do and they all just stand there. Eventually once ive reset everyone it works again but it keeps happening which is frustrating!
Camera will not rotate with ctrl + left/right arrows.
Hey y'all, I've run into a problem as of yesterday (11/3/25) with my camera controls. My left/right arrows will move me side to side, but when using the ctrl function, the camera will not rotate. My up/down arrows work just fine including using the ctrl function. It worked for a few moments upon initial start up but stopped. I have restarted my game multiple times, including my computer itself. I have tried toggling between the Sims 4/3 camera, inverted camera controls, and edge scrolling. I have mods installed yet tried to troubleshoot with those. I disabled mods, and removed the folder + deleted the local thumb cache. Nothing has worked. As of today (11/ 4/25) with the new update, the arrow keys still do not work. For extra context, I am on a laptop and do not use a USB mouse. My arrows work just fine for the Sims 3 but no longer work for the Sims 4. This has never been an issue before, so confused how this happen. Would very much appreciate a solution, please and thank you! :)
Ea repairing my sims 4 and updating issue help please
Hi I don't know who has had this issue but I'm a sims 4 player recently my sims moved to a hard drive correctly yet after that everytime I tried repairing it.It would finish and then start again and this would go on same with the update I don't know what to do I've now deleted ea and sims 4 and got it over again but I am scared I the future it happens againGame crashes when traveling/loading screens
My game has constantly been crashing when the worlds load or when I try to travel. I can't even play the game because when the house with my family in it tries to load, everything crashes and throws me out of the game. I'm getting extremely annoyed. I do not have any mods.
My game keeps randomly crashing and closing out completely.
This is the 3rd time it's happened despite repairing the game. I don't have mods or CC; just a bunch of packs. Is this happening to anyone else? I'm tired of having to rebuild or redo skill advances. Also my sims take FOREVER to start, end, and switch between tasks.
Game sound & music stuttering/looping
I'm having a big issue with my game and no idea how to fix it. No mods are involved. My game has a totally weird sound bug/glitch as soon as I start it. The music is looping in some parts (check the video) while also stuttering. Besides the sound the game is fully running fine, no issues with the gameplay at all. It can't be related to my pc specs, because the pc itself is great (check the picture I've put in, it shows my pc specs) Thing's I've tried so far: - Putting out the whole ''the sims 4'' folder, so that the game generates a new one. - REINSTALLING the game. - Putting the whole sims & EA app folder as exception for the antivirus. - updating every driver (NIVIDIA, windows sound drivers, etc). - Changing the in-game settings from full screen to windowed & to fullscreen-windowed. - Changing to directx9 (idk, I am hopeless) - repairing the game and just to say it again: no mods are in use. In the main menu it's the general music stuttering/looping, but when im in my save, even the sims sounds loop and stutter in parts, it's driving me crazy. As example when my sim say's ''sul sul!'' it will sometimes put another ''sul sul!'' right behind it. Same goes for baby crying and all kinds of other sounds. I have also tried to switch between multiple sound devices and it doesn't change a thing. I tried two different headasets + the monitor speaker. I also made sure that my main headset is set to default when I used it. please anyone help me, because I'm going crazy here :D
