Easy way to fill in the blanks of my packs?
Hello All, I am recently decided to install the game on my new PC and start playing again. I have also gotten an upscale of my income and I wanted to get up to date with all the packs, kits etc. My question is, is there an easy way/screen to go to where I can see which packs I already own and then simply bundle/purchase the packs i do not own...to fill in the gaps? I noticed this when I tried to make a simulated purchase of a pack I know I already own (Get To Work pack) and it was willing to take me all the way to the purchase button without any attempt to alert me "You already own this pack". It would be especially helpful if the EA store would simply stamp a pack as "Owned" to make it easier. I was surprised at how difficult the purchasing process is. Am I missing something? Can't interact with objects or other sims
I'm playing on PC. LMB works to open options, build/buy mode, phone, all UI menu tabs. But I can't click/interact with objects such as toilets, televisions, couches, etc, or other sims. I tried repairing the game through the EA app, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, playing in fullscreen, windowed, and windowed fullscreen, and disabling mods and CC. I'm having this issue with every sim on every lot in every save. I can't figure out what's going on, please help!! I thought it might be related to the Grim Reaper event but it doesn't seem like anyone else is having this issue.
reaper's rewards broken
the 'plant a lily' and 'plant a snapdragon' wont complete, regardless of how many sims i have had plant snapdragons and lilies across saves. does anyone know how to fix this, or if there are any cheats i can use to progress? im unable to do any of the week 2 quests because of this, and i dont want to miss out on everything because the game is brokenEC:204 when trying to play offline
I, like many others, am running into the "the game license has expired" error when trying to play offline despite owning this game for the better part of 7 years. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps and it reached the point where EA support told me to post here so...here I am.
First Time Install -> Crash On Launch
Hello! Not sure where else to turn. I have done 2 complete uninstalls/reinstalls of both the EA app and TS4. Have removed all expacs. I have cleared cache. I have ran as administrator. I have updated drivers accordingly with their software. I have updated windows to its latest possible iteration. Restarted computer between each change. The same thing happens every time. I open the EA desktop app and launch vanilla Sims 4. Window shows big blue Maxis symbol and The Sims 4 insignia. Window closes and I'm staring at the launcher again. Any help would be appreciated. This PC runs heavier games right out of the box without a sweat, so I'm struggling to understand why this wont even launch. Attached is the file from dxdiag. If another crashlog is needed, please let me know where to find it and I will attach it promptly.
The sims 4 doesn't open
Whenever I want to open the sims 4 it doesn't open, and on my screen appears a link to how to delete cache, I tried it but it doesn't help, I tried to reinstall ea app, tried to fix game but nothing helps, also I can't find anywhere the sims 4 folder on my laptop. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I had a great game with lots of features and a big family, but my progress just disappeared. add ons not working
i have spent over 500 pounds on adding extra content to my sims 4 for over 6 years now. I opened up my laptop this morning to find that it says that i can’t play on any of my saved worlds as i didn’t have the packs required. I have tried everything but still no hope, i hope that i can somehow get them back without having to pay another 500 pound as i love the sims 4
Long initial load time and can't connect to gallery
About a month ago, the initial load time to get to the menu took a lot longer than normal. When I got to the menu, it was different because I wasn't connected to the internet. The gallery wouldn't connect. I continued playing this way for about 2 weeks. Then, without changing anything on my computer, it loaded fast and I was connected. I was able to get the first week rewards from the Reaper. 5 days ago it started loading slow with no connection again. I'm able to complete the Reaper events, but can't claim the rewards due to not being connected. I tried turning off anti-virus/firewall, moving Mods folder out, moving The Sims 4 folder out, flushing dns, repairing the game, switching from ethernet to Wifi. Nothing works. Any suggestions?
DisplayName field missing from registry
I keep getting a pop up when I go to launch the sims 4 game. It asks me to login, which I do, then I go to click play again. Then it pops up again, I have restarted the app, I have logged out of the app and back in, I repaired the game. I can't think of anything else to do, has anyone had this issues before?
The EA App and TS4 won't launch
My Sims 4 won't launch. I have removed all mods from the 'Mods' folder. I have taken the 'Sims 4' folder out of the ‘Electronic Arts’ folder and tried launching with no success. The game has been launched after the recent update, so I dont think it's due to that. The game worked with no issues 12 hours ago. I'm experiencing constant crashes whenever I try to play the game. I've already cleared the cache, updated drivers, repaired the game, enabled DirectX 11, restarted my computer, removed all mods, ran it as admin, and repeated these steps multiple times. However, I keep receiving a pop-up that says "unable to start." I've also attached my Dxdiag and a screenshot of the pop-up. I even tried starting as a clean user by removing the Sims 4 folder, but nothing has changed.
Ea app told me to repair it and it won't bc of permission error
So Ea app told me to repair it and it wouldn't bc of permission error. I uninstalled and installed the app again and when trying to download the sims again the same error would apear. I created a new ea games folder... still the same error. I tried looking up the permissions on the ea folder and could change nothing. I changed the permissions on the ea app to administrator and still nothing Attached are pics of the error and the folder and app permissions
after the update the game does not start
This afternoon I played the sims without problems. As soon as I did the update I closed the game and I can't start it anymore. Only the EA app opens. Whether I click on the sims icon or if I try to start it from the EA app, it seems that the app closes and opens again, but the game doesn't start :_(( does anyone have the same problem? are there any solutions? i was working on a creation :-(((
Can't launch the sims 4 anymore
When i try to launch the game i keep getting a message that the file isn't found. I need to repair the game and when i do it keeps telling me there is a permission error. I've already emptied the cache, uninstalled and re-installed, repaired the game numerous times and nothing seems to stick! Sometimes the game will start and i can play it with no problems and when i close the game, shut down my laptop and try to launch the game a few hours later it suddenly doesn't work anymore... I don't use any mods or cc!!Sims 4 not loading
I recently updated my game and I am unable to play. The game will not load. I've uninstalled and re-installed the game as well as the EA app and it's still not working. I've cleared my cache and still no game play. When I try to play it takes me back to the app. Can someone please provide some assistance on this?

What can I do to get an answer from EA about the crashes and the fact that I can't play for more than a minute without a crash, and I mean without any mods!!??? I don't understand how they can update the event when the game crashes and we can't do anything! We are several players in this case with hundreds of euros invested and nothing any communication. But wake up, out of respect for the players !!! My game has been unusable since the September update (and my computer is far from being an ancestor, I must say! I've tried everything with the help of a player to find out where this crash is coming from, but it's clear now that it's been since the update).
Mods keep being disabled even after update
Idk what it was with the last two updates but each time I load the game up, my mods are disabled even though I keep enabling them and restarting the game. I know certain mods have to be updated when the game gets an update so they don't conflict with gameplay but I've tried it several times and even deleted and reinstalled the game, repaired the game, and erased game data. I've tried to use several different mods separately but they keep saying the same thing (mods have been disabled) and it's quite becoming really annoying. Is there anyone who could explain this or help me out in any way?
Update problems / General issues
Since I updated the game, I have not been able to save with save and exit or normal save it worked once but now I just get stuck in the screen, I haven't tried it yet but I have seen a work around using save as, I am currently uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if that helps but this has been happening since the September update with grim rewards. I do use mods, and I have been for quite some time, but this has never been an issue. I've checked through my mods folder deleting anything I think might be at fault as well as running scans with mccc and better exceptions, but nothing seems to be fixing this issue I've never had this problem before, and any help will be greatly appreciated.
