EA says it’s already running, but the game failed to launch. Is anyone else encountering this problem right now? I haven’t played for about three weeks, and just when I want to enjoy my holiday, this is how EA wants me to spend it. Technical support doesn’t seem to help at all. I’ve tried ending tasks, repairing and reinstalling the game, checking Windows Defender, and restarting my PC. None of those worked. It’s frustrating!!
Sims 4 Expansion Packs Not Showing In Game
Hi, I’m experiencing an issue with The Sims 4 expansion packs. It shows as “owned” in the EA App, and when I click on the world, the contents are not loading in-game. I have already tried the following: Repairing the game Uninstalling and reinstalling the pack Clearing the EA App cache Removing my Mods folder Restarting the EA App and my computer The issue persists, and the world does not appear or load properly. Could you please check and resync my account entitlements for this pack?
Game not launching after install on new PC
I just downloaded everything onto my new laptop and now whenever I go to start the game, it never launches. It sits in the task center with 0% activity. I've tried repairing the app and the game - nothing. I just paid money for more DLCs that I would like to actually play, seeing as I cannot find a way to get a refund. Hope someone can help, TIA.
Says packs aren’t owned
I’ve used many packs in a save and ended up uninstalling a few of them, when I tried to reinstall them the saves say the packs I used are not owned, but it says they’re installed. I’ve tried repairing the game and restarting the EA app but those have not worked. I do have some packs that are still in game and working.
Sims 4 Help
Hi there, im having a few errors in my game: my sim moved in a ‘townie’ after they started dating and I have tried to change her likes/dislikes, arrange all of her outfits but then when I’m in game and go to change her outfit - all of the outfits are the same, and odd outfits (example: fitness is a fancy shirt, heels, and underwear. When I have my sims go on dates and do the ‘drinking’ activity as part of the date, it does the action of ordering and then never takes the drink. Or takes it and glitches and won’t do other actions, or puts it in a weird spot. thanks in advance!
Corrupted Save
I have a save file that crashes the game back to the desktop whenever I try to load a household. It is a very large save file with about 800 sims (including NPCs) and does contain multiple very complex family trees. I also do rotational play in this save. One family in particular contains a situation where one sim has more than 25 children with 8 different partners, with most of those partners also having children with other partners. Monogamy is not a thing in my save! Also, many of my large families marry into other large families repeatedly. This was never a problem until the Royalty and Legacy patch. I am currently rebuilding the save file from scratch, and I am making some cuts and edits to reduce the number of sims and the complexity of family trees. Since I can still load the old save file as long as I don't load a household, I'm saving off my sims to the tray to be imported into the new save file. My concern is whether I'm just going to recreate the problem if I import all of my sims and recreate the incredibly complex family trees, especially for the one sim that had many partners. At time of writing, I've kept that one sim monogamous (with 13 children with his wife, and all of his grandchildren from them and their partners) during the rebuild and things seem to be okay. But, I'd like to eventually restore that one sim's children with other partners, 14 of them, and all of the grandchildren from them with other partners that I honestly can't count how many of them there are. I'm basically looking for some guidance into how far I can go to rebuild the save file, and specifically how complex I can make a family tree before I cause a problem. If too many children are a problem, or too many connections with other families are a problem, I need to know those limits. If those limits aren't intended, then I hope I can help with a patch. I am willing to provide a save file for analysis in addition to a LastCrash file, which I already know is a Stack Overflow error from my own analysis, and DxDiag should that be necessary. The save file will be a "Mods Removed" save file. I can explain more to the EA staffer that contacts me.My Sims 4 game continues to crash into two hours of game play
Every time i play the sims 4 game, my game suddenly crashes and shuts down after 2 hours of game, I have tried numerous methods to fix the crashing. The methods that i have done to fix my game are: •Removing my mods and cc •Delete and Reinstalling the sims 4 and ea app •cleared cache and localthumbcache •Repaired the game numerous. •Deleted and reinstalled my dlc packs •Renamed The Sims 4 Folder If i could get any help or advice it would be really appreciated.
Currupt file
Hello, my Sims 4 game will not open due to a corrupt custom content file that I deleted. I tried to repair the game, do a one-by-one in a new folder. The file I need is nowhere to be found, and I really do not want to lose my game. It's a file starting in " ._ ". I got redirected here, so I hope someone can please help me after trying all the troubleshooting steps I was sent.
Trouble with packs through Steam and EA
I recently got a new gaming laptop and was attempting to download the game and all my DLC. I first tried downloading through EA app first and all my DLC purchased through them downloaded just fine but then my Steam purchases said deactivated. So I uninstalled and tried again but downloading on Steam first. Just for it to do the same thing but the opposite packs, so my EA DLC were showing as not installed even though they were. I've tried four or five more times uninstalling and reinstalling but still nothing has given me access to all of my purchased DLC at the same time.The Sims 4 not available in EA App (Lebanon or Middle East)
Hello everyone, I’m honestly really frustrated and disappointed to be writing this. The Sims 4 has been one of my favorite games for years, and it’s really upsetting to see that I (and apparently many others in Lebanon / the Middle East) can’t even download it anymore. The game shows in my EA App account, but I can't install it. EA Support also confirmed it is not available in my region. It’s really disappointing because this is supposed to be a free game that everyone should be able to access, yet players here are completely locked out for no clear reason. It honestly feels unfair and discouraging as a long-time fan, especially when we’re just trying to enjoy a game that others can access normally. I really hope someone from the EA team sees this and escalates it properly, because this issue is clearly affecting multiple users in this region and needs to be fixed.Sims 4 crashing at random - no mods, new save
My game is crashing with no error codes, usually aroun 10 minutes after playing. No specific world, lot or interaction seems to trigger it. I have removed all mods and cc, uninstalled and reinstalled (without mods or cc) and started a clean game by generating a new Sims 4 folder and the issue is still the same. Last crash file and dxdiag attached. Can anyone help?Game Data Incomplete - Downloaded DLC appearing as "Not Owned"
Since the last big updated (and the patch that followed), I have not been able to play any of my save files. At first. the said I needed For Rent, which was already downloaded and none of the neighborhoods were appearing from any of the DLC I purchased. After the patch, it said I need Get to Work, which was already downloaded and none of the neighborhoods were appearing. Please help! I've taken the following steps (multiple times) already: Clearing the cache and repairing Uninstalling and re-installing Sims 4 Uninstalling and re-installing the entire EA app and all purchased games and DLC Uninstalling and re-installing Sims 4 and related DLC to an external hard drive (thought maybe it was a wonky response to a disk space issue) Removing all CC completelyEnchnated By Nature - World not Loading
I recently installed the Expansion Pack - Enchnated by Nature but I can't access the world as it is greyed out. I looked up a fix and i can confirm i have done the following cleared app cache, deleted the EP 19 folder, a clean install of the game (no mods or custom content) repaired the game in EA app. I even removed all the other game/expansion packs to leave just this one installed but it still wont work. i have paid good money for something thats broken.
Can not create new house hold
I do not have any cc or mods. Never have. Probably never will. Confusing for me. Anywhoo.. I did update the base game when the update released. I have tried twice to create a new house hold and both times it won't load correctly. What do I need to do?? So frustrating that the base game itself is broke!DLCs HELP!!!
I recently switched to a Windows system. I had originally purchased DLCs on both EA and Steam. Now, when I check on EA, it shows that all the DLCs have been successfully downloaded, but the game only has the Steam DLCs. In the game, the EA DLCs are marked as “Owned” but “Not Installed.” What could be causing this???Expansion packs aren't showing up in game
Yesterday i bought two packs but even though they were showing up in my EA app as installed and were showing up in my files as being there they weren't showing up in game. i uninstalled and reinstalled the game but that didn't work. I restarted my computer, that also didn't work. I then uninstalled the ea app and reinstalled it as well as uninstalling the game on steam and reinstalling it on EA. i then tried repairing the game and now none of the packs including the ones i have bought in the past are appearing in game. but all are still in my files. throughout the day i have been trying everything i can think of, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, repairing the game periodically, turning off custom content, moving them into different folders and uninstalling and reinstalling the individual packs. they still aren't showing up. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?Still having issues since the most recent update
Since the Sim 4 updated and added the marketplace, I was having the "failure to launch" issue. I waited around for the next update to fix things, and had seen some people say their game was now working. My game will load into the main menu but when I try to play it just goes to the loading screen forever and never loads.Help!
My game won't work since the last update. I've tried everything, the 50/50 method, repairing my game (which is basically just verifying files since steam doesn't have a repair option) and hard resetting with a completely new sims folder and my game still crashes. I don't have OneDrive turned on and I've tried starting it up with absolutely no mods or CC and it crashes within two seconds of booting up not even making it to the title screen. I'm seriously at my wits end and am so close to just giving up and quitting the sims entirely but I want to see if there's anything I can do first. I've read some other threads and thought I'd include the last crash and the DxDiag. Would greatly appreciate any feedback or help to get my game running at least.
