Can't click on lots in gallery
I don't know if it is just me but Today I finally was able to open my game after losing my forever save.....just to try and browse the gallery for lots but cannot click on any of them to bring up the details of the build!!!! I want to throw my computer pit of any window. I am beyond pissed. I have taken all my mods out (had 20,115 folders!!) in small batches. Please help someone? [CM edit - descriptive title and CAPS]
Is it safe to play apartments anywhere and/or visit San Myshuno yet?
Due to fear of corrupted saves and from experiencing issues after For Rent, I haven't played in San Myshuno for years now and long ago deleted a 6-unit Residential Rental I had built in Willow Creek because it was causing spawning and/or visibility of spawned and inventory items (like too many of the same flower spawn and also groups of stuck bikes, etc.). A bug fix seemed to fix it at one point but I won't play them in case it starts again. Has the "should be invisible in the sky but were stuck visible due to RR lots" really been fixed or are you still experiencing that? So is it safe yet to play apartments of any kind (Residential Rental or ones built by EA) or to visit San Myshuno even if you just visit? I feel like a big part of my Sims 4 experience is lost by not being able to feel I can safely visit San Myshuno in particular; I really love those apartments and the stories you can tell there. I also don't feel comfortable visiting Evergreen Harbor due to its apartments. I think the "being able to play apartments" issue is something that EA has said they're working on fixing but that it will take some time. Is that still the case? I haven't heard about it in a while.
For Rent EP15
BugFor Rent Pack (EP15) causing get_plex_tile_count SystemError —lots invisible across ALL worlds and saves I have been experiencing a critical bug caused by the For Rent pack (EP15) since early April 2026. The bug affects every save including brand new games. What's happening: • All lots across every world appear invisible or blank/flat from the world map • Game gets stuck on loading screen • Every single session generates a SystemError: get_plex_tile_count returned NULL without setting an error from business_service.py and rental_unit_manager.py • BetterExceptions confirms 0% mod involvement — no broken mods, no invalid CC • Happens in brand new saves with zero mods installed • Game version: 1.123.66.1030 What I have tried: • Clearing all cache files repeatedly • Repairing the game through the EA app • Removing all mods and CC • Editing the save file directly to remove corrupted RentalUnitManager entries • Restoring older save backups • Starting brand new saves Nothing fixes it permanently. The only workaround is disabling EP15 entirely using -disablepacks:EP15. This is an EA bug that has been reported since 2023 and still has not been fixed. Please escalate this.
Bugs with the Gallery and Pack Selection
Hello EA team. I'm contacting you via the forum to report two problems I've been having with my game. The first is that I can't select the three most recently released Expansion Packs, Enchanted by Nature, Adventures Awaits, and Royalty and Legacy, in the Pack Selection section; these three DLCs simply don't appear. The second problem is with the Gallery; I can't save lots I build or edit. A message always appears saying to check my internet connection, but my internet is unstable. Please fix these bugs. I'm a fan of The Sims. I hope these problems will be resolved soon. Greetings from Brazil.Help needed with my recent build
Hi simmers, I have recently made a super yacht. I originally wanted it to be a vacation home but the more time i spent building it the more i wanted to use it as a community lot. It has a spa, gym, lobby bar, restaurant, bowling alley and bar, bedrooms and a executive suite at the top. What should i choose when i place the lot for everything to work? i need bar staff, restaurant staff, spa staff etc? will they sleep over if its just a community lot? What would work best? Or should i keep it as a rental and have sims invite people over? The kitchen in the restaurant is fully equipped for them to cook themselves, i just really wanted it to be an all experience place. Please help, Thank you!!
Dogs and cats not changing breeds
so i’m playing sims and this hasn’t happened to me before so i have no idea what to do, whenever i create a new sim and add a dog into it.. it will not let me change breeds or add fur etc it glitches. i thought it was my mods so i removed them all, but it’s still doing the same thing. i’ve verified game files but nope nothing. any help?Major bug issues
Hi there, Three major bugs are occurring while playing on PS5: 1. Characters are stated to not be in the room when they are clearly present in the room. 2. When assigning characters a task they do not complete it. This is especially true for going to bed and using the bathroom. 3. A child character is not attending elementary school despite being repeatedly assigned to go. The character remains in the house regardless of how many times I direct them to school. I am receiving in game warnings that the character will be expelled due to absences despite my repeated attempts to send them. This appears to be a routing or task completion bug specific to the school attendance mechanic.
Toddlers and Infants have no sound
I'm not actually sure if this is a bug but I can't find anything on it anywhere. My two twin toddler boys and infant girl are silent. They make the movements and gestures for the sound, but make no sound whatsoever. The adult parents are just fine. This started after we traveled to selvadorada for a family vacation and they were sent to day care. Maybe it's the daycare mod? But again, I'm not seeing anything on this specific topic anywhere.
The Camera spins at a fast rate?
It's hard to describe but the camera within the game spins so fast in both Cas and live mode the camera will spins so fast with the slightest movements. In cas when trying to slide the facial features around or spin the character around to look from different angles the camera will rotate 360 with the slightest movement of the mouse as well as the proportions on the face will slide to the point where i can't put the facial structure back to normal. Like imagine trying to make the nose bigger while the direction of the nose tip going up or down at the same time for example. At first i thought it was a mods issue but i have removed my mods completely and it still happens. I've even reinstalled the game and this issue still occurs so it has to be a game issue as its not cause by mods. I've tried looking at past threads and i've seen similar issues but this one seems to affect both inside and outside of cas so its clearly not the same issue as previous reports
The game shuts down a few seconds after starting
Hello, The Sims4 crashes after a few seconds of playing in Family Mode. it started after the update 1.122.218.1030. I tried different methods to help myself and they didn't help. then I deleted the mods, reinstalled the game and it still didn't help. All my saves still broke, even those I didn't play with mods. Also, when I create a new family in a new save, the error persists. A week ago, after the game crashed, I got an error file, but now it doesn't appear. What else can I do?
Enchanted By Nature Fairy Failure
I've tried everything. Checking my mods, restarting the app, making new games, clearing cache files, repairing the sims4 games, checking my computer settings, but STILL my Fairy sims do not show their wings! They don't show their fairy forms, I can't edit their fairy forms in CAS because they just automatically revert back to human. Even if I create a fairy in the beginning they do not have their wings or fairy form in the game. Their fairy skill tree is also non-existent so I can't use any skill points. Even the game's most recent update has done nothing to help. I've wasted my money on a glitchy buggy game pack that is no fun at all. This is a manufacturer problem, not something I can fix. EA you'd better fix this problem because I don't appreciate you giving me an overpriced faulty game pack that has too many bugs.
menu doesn't show up when clicking fridge, oven or computer
i play on pc and i've been having this issue for a while, i use mods but i tested it without mods and the issue still occurs even with no mods. when i click on a fridge, computer or oven no menu will show up, so no interactions at all, but sims still cook autonomously or when i give them the command through the needs panel. i tested also in an old save file, with and without mods enabled and the and also tried creating new saves and the issue still remains. it's not mod related but it's in the game. i also tried repairing the game and deleting the local thumb cache but it didn't fix the issue. if i click the fridge the in game time continues but the sim is frozen and can't do anything. i tried waiting for more than 10 minutes but the menu never pops up.Re-buying my worlds
Hello. I’m starting to get really upset. I bought every pack that would make a world. After the update I had to reinstall a lot of my stuff which is fine but one of my worlds it said I never bought. I did buy it. I cut my loss and just bought it again. I waited a few days and just got back on and now it’s saying I have to buy 6 more kits and packs 😭 I want to cry. I don’t want to quit playing but I’m not rebuying my stuff that I spent money on. Is anyone else going through the same thing?Worlds not loading (at all)
So this bug started for me for about 2 weeks ago. When I tried to load the worlds it didn't work, like at all. I tried waiting it out but nothing was happening. And now, when I tried to load my worlds again, it didn't work either. The screen is white, and I can see my family and "choose world" but then no worlds show up. (I tried to take a screenshot but my pc is not the best haha).Vacation Rentals Unavailable
Since downloading Legacy, I can't go on vacation. It says "No Vacation rentals are currently available". When I go to manage worlds and try to change the lot type on any of the vacation homes they ARE still vacation homes but say they cannot be edited while owned. I don't have any mods. Very frustrating because now all of Selvadorada is inaccesible.endless loading
After the update I can pull up my game and get into a house. I had my person buy some land and once I go to it to build a residental rental on it the game just says its loading. I can move around and build but I cant go to the gallery to find a house, I can't leave that lot to return home and I can't save anything. I have run a repair and pulled out all my mods but my game still won't work right. Help Please
