Not getting a new quest in the live event
I have tried for like a week to get a new quest in the current live event but I am not able to get one. This is honestly fairly annoying because I would like to complete the event, but it only has a few days left and so far I have unlocked like two new things.
Dining out Broken
Hello I wondered if anyone has any suggestions to how I might fix dining out, It's totally broken for me, when I visit there is no NPC to host or cook or sever, also if I buy a retail I can hire staff but when I click open noting happens, I have reported this as a bug but nothing is being said I think it's gone cold no one else seems to be having this issue. I am on xbox next gen so I have no mods nor can I use any. I own all pack apart from adventure and fairy pack and a few kits. I have uninstalled and re uninstalled but nothing seems to work if anyone has a any ideas what I could do I would appreciate it because I miss dining out so much it's a big part of my game play.
PRESETS ON SIM CHANGING/DISAPPEARING ON LIVING MODE
Do you guys know what causes this preset bug where the Sim looks completely different in live mode, as if no preset was applied? It only happened with this Sim — I have other Sims with presets and didn’t get this bug. Even this Sim’s height slider isn’t working. I updated all the presets and sliders with Sims 4 Studio, but it still didn’t work.Game crash. Help, attached crash txt file.
help. Game crashed last night, first time ever. My game had a posture error earlier in the game but wasn't anything to worry about. Then one of my sims died of old age and the grim reaper wouldn't reap them and just kept hanging around and it lasted for 5 sim days. I let it try to figure itself out so I didn't have to lose out on saving my game but it ended up crashing anyway. I have MCCC and Basemental Eco Hacks as far as mods go, and no CC. I am confused why this is happening and will be testing my game further tonight. I've had issues with that save before and ended up having to restore it so if I have to scrap it and start over then so be it but if there's something else causing these issues then I would love to know how to fix it so I can keep playing this save. All of my saves are important to me but this one was special since it was my legacy save, I got up to the 7th generation and was so close to getting to the 10th. Please help, if you can, I'm going to attach the crash txt file.
Cannot claim the Modern Photo Frame | The Lens of Imagination
When playing on PC (Win 11 OS build 26100.6584, no CC or mods) I cannot claim the Modern Photo Frame for the Forever Friends event quest The Lens of Imagination. I tried to claim it in the event before heading to the park and it said it was still locked (and the Flex & Form Top). So I went to the park just in case I somehow didn't have the right amount of EP. I was able to complete the rest of the quest stuff but claiming the frame. It's almost like the claiming process froze or I was not awarded enough EP to reach that reward. I have also repaired the game, cleared cache and restarted my computer. Is there anything else I can try to get past this?Books and toys disappearing
I have noticed a new issue in my game regarding books, kids' toys, and pet toys purchased by a member of the household. A sim will purchase books/toys, and the items will be placed in the bookshelf or toybox. However, if I leave live mode on the current lot in any way, such as by entering CAS or travelling to a different lot, the items will be missing upon return. I will click "open" on the bookshelf/toybox, and it will be empty.My Sim can't travel
I don't know if I'm the only one, but as soon as I try to make my Sim travel, it gets stuck on the loading screen. Also, the family picture doesn't load—neither in the family tree nor when you click on the household. Are other people experiencing this too? I am playing on my laptop.How to make the game randomly generate certain types of townies/household?
Is there a certain way to make the game generate certain types of townies? For example a married couple with or without children, single father, family with female child, family with male teen, etc. I only have base game, and currently playing with auto age off for unplayed household. I noticed that when the game generates a family, it always a family of single mother with female teen and a male child. And only one randomly generated family that consist of a married couple with male child, and I don’t know what the trigger for it. I tried to go to park or playgrounds a few times, erasing the household that I do not want, to make the game to generate new family with kids, but it always generate a household of single mother, female teen, and male child. I have never seen the opposite type nor any new family of married couple with children again. I am playing on a new save and trying a new gameplay ideas where I mostly control one family and only age up other premade/randomly generated family when I decided to marry a sim from those household. I’m not sure if this is another known issue, but my sims has been giving birth to male babies only for around 5 generations, and I wanted to have a story where my heir marry their BFF from childhood but could not as I could not make the game randomly generate a family with female child, so I just wait until they age up to teen to choose their lifetime partner. I know that there are mods that help to create various type of household but I don’t want to rely on mods. So I would like to know if there a ways to trigger the game to generate certain types of townies. Below are what I noticed from my own observations on how to trigger certain types of sims. Going to park or playgrounds: generate family of single mother with female teen and male child. Going to bar in Oasis Springs: generate female young adults bar regulars. Going to lot with Teen neighborhood trait: Generate single teen (male or female) household (no parents) But I noticed my game have a few single males and females unemployed young adult sims, so I would like to know if there are other triggers to generate those, especially household of married couples, single father and household with female child. Please advise. Thank you.
Sim couples autonomously divorce
I play rotationally and some of my sim couples randomly aren't married anymore, the relationship status also seems glitched. I don't use any mods and never have. It seems to have started since the last update because I didn't have this problem before. I play with neighborhood stories on but this has never happened before the update.
