Watch TV on Treadmill
I swear that my sims used to be able to watch tv while on the treadmill, but now I noticed that the sim will get off the treadmill when I turn the tv on. I can't actually remember if they were able to watch tv while exercising, is that a thing or would this be considered a bug?
[B&H] Paying Household Members as Employees?
Hi, I just got the Businesses & Hobbies expansion for Christmas and I have a question more out of curiosity than anything else. I noticed my Sim can hire her husband, whom she obviously lives with, as an employee at her small business. She has to pay him a salary but since they live together and share household funds, does that mean the money doesn't actually go anywhere? Did my Sim find a free labour loophole or does the game actually deduct the money from the household funds anyway and just make it go poof instead of going to her husband?
My Sim Can't Reap The Sim That Is Supposed To Be Dead - Reaper Career
My Sim is in the Reaper career, but every time I load this particular plot, I can't reap the Sim. I've received this assignment on this plot twice now, and each time it doesn't work. However, on different plots, I've been able to reap dead Sims, even when they aren't actually dead, which is another issue altogether. I've tried adding the Sim to my family to see if I can cheat and make them dead, but that doesn't work and removes the designation of being a dead Sim. I've also attempted various cheats through the cheat bar, but none have been successful. This is my legacy save, and I've been playing it for a considerable amount of time. I don't use any mods, so I don't have MCC installed to resolve the issue more easily. This bug forces me to end the day early because I can't progress until I successfully reap the Sim. Please help!
Actual Maximum Sim Count in a game?
Hi all, I guess I start this thread because I am really not sure what is the actual maximum sim count a game can have as of now? Perhaps a simguru can enlighten me? So, I set my game to Unlimited sim count with 385 active sims under My Households and several hundreds (between 200 to 300) more under Other Households. My active households are all over the sim world. Recently I notice that new townies no longer spawn and if they do, they will be removed from the game on the next sim day. So these are the 2 questions: 1, Does anyone know what is the actual maximum sim count for unlimited? From what I read in forums the number range between 500 to 800 but I am not really sure. 2. Does the game remove townies if the sim count exceed the limit?Gallery library not showing CC Builds
I've just reloaded my game on my laptop and I had saved all my builds (even the ones including CC) to my gallery library. However, when I tried to download them from the gallery, they're not showing up the builds even when I click the 'Include Custom Content' filter.Sims in library don’t have the correct amount of money
This is beginning to frustrate me. I remake all the townies in all my worlds, from cas, to careers, to skills. I am extremely detail oriented and an easily frustrated when everything’s not perfect. So you can imagine how I feel when I save sims to my library, go to another save, try add them to my world there, and the amount of money that they have is entirely different from what I saved them on. I THINK it’s the amount of money they had before I cheated it differently, but I’m not positive. Please help, this makes me feel like I might be missing other things as well, and I want all my renditions of each sim to be the exact same. Believe me, I’ve tried restarting my PlayStation, going from offline to online, I’ve put the new sim in the world, changed their money, and then save them to my library, just to have the exact same issue again. Like I said, PLEASE help.The household and grounds are maybe corrupt
Dear Community I have an issue with the household and the grounds in Sims 4. I have one specific ground where a household lives. When I try to load in to this household and ground, the game crashes, sometimes with and sometimes without crashlog. There is not only this ground and household which doesn't work, but this is the one I tested through. Already tried: Disable mods, remove cache and repair Different household (which works) on the corrupt ground Family of corrupt ground on different ground Restart computer Taking older save So maybe both the household and also the ground could be corrupt? I read, that I have to start new (not exactly but similar case), but I wanted to ask if there are other options? I hope I explained this good enough. Thanks for you help! Every time I enter the game I go to my already played households but every time I get to the manage world I click the household I want to play but it just sends me to the choose a map screen.This has happened to me before in the past and it only started working again when they updated the game but then at the beginning of this month my game started doing it again and I haven't been able to play for a whole monthSims 4 Not Playing
Today, I have had the reoccuring issue of my sims 4 when i hit play, taking me to the world map and making me choose my family, but when i hit play there it acts like its loading but takes me right back to the map, ive tried other houses and it did the same thing, i had even created a new save and it did it. Its been about 3 hours now of this and I honestly dont know what to do. Ive "repaired" and deleted and reinstalled the game, ive also turned off my computer and put it back on multiple times. Its given me an error code saying the game failed to load and its reccomending me to relaunch which i have, MULTIPLE TIMES. i did go to build mode to see if that worked and if i could see my charaters, the buildmode part worked but i did not infact see any of my charaters, i honestly would really like a fast response i did spend money on packs.
Take care of crows in 'life and death'
🦇I just got the life and death expansion pack. The crows I interact with show that they are hungry but there is no option for a feeding interaction. I can talk to them and train them and even clean their perch but they are always starving. Is there something I'm missing?
Can't place apartment room
This is a new save, no mods that affect building, no cc furniture, and I tried with both bb.moveobjects/bb.enablefreebuild on an off. There is no household moved in and I've bulldozed it, tried leaving the world, closing and opening the game, repairing the game, deleting the local thumbcache, and making a new save to see if the original is corrupted as well as tried multiple different rooms to see if just that one is bugged and none of these fixed it. For some reason when trying to place a room on 19 Culpepper specifically, it won't allow me to place it at all unless it's like 2 boxes off center towards the balcony even with objects clipping and floating outside the actual lot regardless of cheats on. I have no clue how to fix this or if that apartment is just bugged right now. Any advice?Sims complaining about not reaching items/ objects in the way.
So I have recently purchased the Sims 4 enchanted by nature expansion pack. I immediately went to build mode and created a house with several other packs I own on my Xbox. Now everytime in live nod when I want my Sim to use any sink in the house, shower and even couch, the chair in living room and other items they complain about something in the way or that they can't reach it. I tired to delete the items or even place them somewhere else with more space, I even checked for small items that could cause the issue (there were none) but still they complained. I did use the cheat bb.moveobejcts to build the house and I never had any problems with that. Of course I'm aware that sometimes this can be the issue but as I turned it off and placed the items again and it didn't work as well. Now I'm out of ideas what could be the issue. Pleas help.
