The game does not work - greyed out start up , white screen
First, the in game ad at start up is greying out my screen. Meaning, i cannot enter any save files or close the game in the start up page. Then I go to the new world that came with the fairies expansion and it’s all white. i can’t even go back to pick another world. fix. your. game.
Game ruined after July 10th update
My whole game my world, my towns my sims my creations are all gone after the update automatically last night around like 8pm now when I open it the game it’s a bunch of random sims in the picture and it says new game, my packs I bought are still exsisting, my mods for sims is still existing, now I’m very sad please fix my game I miss all my sims i made.also the stuff from my gallery not online gallery is all gone too it’s like the game just got rid of everything of mine that I made , especially my sims their all gone the characters I made.
Evil gnomes randomly appeared
I'm not sure why but 2 evil gnomes randomly appeared in my Sims house, destroyed the kitchen, another gnome appeared and all 3 joined forces to destroy the computer room. One of my Sims tried to beg for forgiveness and got electrocuted by lightning :( I could get rid of them by selling them, I just don't understand why they appeared 😭 I have the new nature pack and it was NOT harvestfest.
Cannot deliver foraged apothecary item for Be Kind Unwind fable
I am not getting the option to deliver the foraged apothecary item for the Be Kind Unwind fable from the Apothecary Vendor. I have tried it many times. I even cleared out my inventory, bought the Enhanced Eyes potion and foraged for apothecary items, and tried to deliver the item to him and never got the prompt to deliver. I went through all of the options in all of the categories. I tried it with no mods installed, and with my mods installed, no difference. I'm really stumped. This is the first fable that I've tried to do. I even deleted the fable and re-requested it. Still no option to deliver. I feel like I've tried every combination to get the option to come up with no results. Anyone else experiencing this?
Nature's calling can't claim claimable rewards.
I've been doing the quests of this event and claiming my rewards until the last quest... I can't claim my rewards after doing the last quest released so far. I tried the 'claim all' button, tried to claim it in game UI and on main menu, tried to restart my game and try all of this again but nothing seems to work. I hope maybe when more quests get unlocked I can claim my rewards again. Does someone has the same problem as me or know a solution? In the screenshots below you can see I was able to claim the dish but not the book and the potion. Also rewards that go further than my progress bare are indicated with a yellow dot which I think means it's "claimable"? Is my progress bar not loading any further anymore or is the game showing yellow dots where it shouldn't? I play on pc btw.
Nature's Calling week 2 aspiration was not completing due to delay triggering
I was stuck on week 2. I really don't like when I have to change my character's aspiration anyway, but under Nature aspiration I planted multiple plants (didn't even trigger the 3 things planted) and eco one that triggered one thing but when I voted on neighborhood thing it didn't trigger at all (see image attached!). No mods. Restarted multiple times. Cleared cache. Made sure downloads were up to date, currently on Version 1.116.223.1030 - just wanted to give heads up that it wasn't triggering on these two, but I finally got it to trigger on crystal crafter table after 4 tries purchasing the table (with restarts each time) and 3 ring gifts before it would complete this step. Not sure what the issue is, but buying the table shouldn't take that many attempts and the other steps should have triggered or finished as well.I can't place the medals from the military career into the display case
Hello to all. There's a post about this issue already, but there's a message from the admin., stating that it's old, and I need to start a new topic for the same issue. So, here it is. I played through the Strangerville DLC. I had my sim join the military career, and he got medals and a display case to put them in. When I first got them, everything worked, I was able to place the medals into the display case. After I finished the story, the house was too small, so I moved the household to a lot in Henford, which is from the Cottage Living DLC. Now the game is telling me that I don't own the medals and I'm not allowed to move them in the living mode. I can't place them into the display case or the sim's inventory or move them around the lot. I can move them around in the build mode, I ended up placing them on shelves in the build mode. But I went through the trouble of getting the display case and medals, but the display case and medals are rendered useless and pointless because of this issue. It's nice that Maxis gives us all of these things that we can enjoy. But it's sad that they are rendered useless because of badly thought-out programming. I have tried to restart other careers, to correct an item being deleted by accident or dealing with moving to a new lot and having the items lock. This happened to me in the cooking career. It was the special kitchen cabinets that were locked. But my sim can only restart the career at the same level that they left at. This game doesn't allow me to restart the military career at the beginning level to regain the medals. I won't be able to use that idea as a work around. Is there a solution and/or is there going to be a solution for this? Because this has happened to me in numerous careers. It's quite frustrating to go through all of the trouble to get rewards, just to have badly though-out rules or bugs to ruin the experience. There was also a sale on DLCs going on that ended around the same time, and my game was buggy. Maybe the download of the sale's end bugged out my game? Thanks for the consideration.
Is reproduction completely off of the table since the patch?
I am only asking because I am trying to make 2 sims have a baby, and I am aware that they cannot check the pregnancy on the toilet, but I don't seem to have the option of even trying for a science baby. I am wondering if reproduction, in general, is off of the table completely until the issue with checking the pregnancy is finished. Thank you in advanced.
Adult Sim won't bath Toddler.
I have tried several times in various bathrooms to get my adult Sim to bathe my toddler Sim. I've even tried having the toddler ask for a bath however the adult acts like something is blocking their path, even though nothing is. It does the same thing when standing next to the tub. It seems to be more then just the bathing interaction, it seems to be all interactions now. When I try to have my sim do anything with her toddler, pick her up, put her to bed, etc. Anything that requires her to touch her she wont do. She has the same reaction as in the video below. I've had similar issues of the sim reacting like something is in their way on other tasks as well but eventually after like the 3rd or 4th try they finally do it. Or if I move them to another part of the room or space. However that doesnt work in this case. I'm playing on a Playstation 4, both the system and game are up to date. Sims 4 version - 2.13 Playstation 4 - 12.50 I'm attaching a video i took with my phone. Its the best I can do since i'm not giving Playstation full access to my Youtube account and it wont let me take videos without it.
Plants cared for but dying anyway
I'm in Innisgreen on a brand new save and there seems to be an issue with plants that are just dying for no reason. My sim tends to them, weeding spraying for bugs watering, ect, the plants are sheltered but groups of 4 plants at a time just randomly die. I tried turning on the better soil lot trait. I also tried to hire a gardener and they don't show. I have no mods. Yes I have seasons the plants however are sheltered.Cannot connect Lightning Root to grid
The game seems to have been designed to give the player the option to plant the Lightning Root and connect it to the grid to produce electricity and offset bills. I do not have the option to connect the Lightning Root plant to the grid. Is there a fix for this? How can I connect the Lightning Root plant to the grid?I sims 4 gallery
I cannot download any houses or any content from the gallery and I’ve tried restarting my game several times. This is really kinda getting annoying making me not wanna play Sims anymore. every time I try to upload a house it’s literally the same house I have. I’ve tried for five times tried to even restarting my computer and even deleting some mods and still nothing.
