Has anyone else noticed glitches after the new update (9/18)?
I was playing and at my sims wedding when i went to order drinks, it froze and i had to force quit my game and basically restart it all from the last save. I dont have any CC/mods and after i repaired my game i restarted the game and started playing again, only for my aspiration to restart as well (its the famous actor and it is trying to say my sim isn't an adult or an actress even though they just got the commercial gig.) just wondering what to do/if this has happened to anyone else.Small Business Customers wont buy something
the small business pack is so unplayable..... i opened a smal shop at my home lot. for 1 to 2 days it was working fine. on the 3th day the customers are only standing outside my shop and not buying anything or the just come, talk with others or want to talk to my sim. that is realy annoying. the customers should come, buy things and leave. no talking, no socializing..............just buy the things that my sim offers......Maids don’t complete all cleaning tasks
I hired a maid, and they will leave before cleaning all areas. They seem to only pick up trash/diapers and dispose of it, but it’s not all the time. The maids often skip a lot of the cleaning tasks such as cleaning the toilet and shower, and washing dirty dishes.Game will not load.
This started yesterday when I was trying to launch my game. It just would not launch. I opened the EA app and tried launching it from there and the game would not load. A yellow bar then popped up saying it is taking longer then normal and to hold tight. It never loaded. I cleared cache, restarted app, deleted app and reinstalled app, everything that they say to do in troubleshooting I have done. When I reopened the EA app it said I needed to download my game. It was never uninstalled. I was then told to uninstall the game from my computer and reinstall it but now it will not load or reinstall. I'm sure this is a issue with the ea app but was told to do this for help. Everything on my end is up to date.
glass floor tiles from Island living...
So, I'm trying put glass floors in my house. As stated in my title of this post, I'm using the tiles from Island living. I'm sure many of you know that because these tiles are not considered a build item you have to place them one by one... My problem is that when I hit shift It only lets me place so many tiles before holding shift stops working and I have to restart my game to get it to work again. I don't know if this is a bug in the game or a problem with my keyboard/laptop but any help resolving this issue is welcomed. Thank you in advance... OH, I've already cleaned my keyboard of any possible obstructions, and I currently have no mods installed.Can't Load Into Household
Hello, it's as the title says, when loading into a new save, I was booted back to the map/neighborhood select! I read the "START HERE", so here's that info since I followed the instructions and I'm still being booted back after a new save: This is happening over multiple families, I've tried several saves. Yes, it's happening with newly saved games. LastException is in the attachments.
buggy high school day
Hello, I just had a new bug this morning. My class day was apparently very bad, even though I did all the daily tasks correctly. I did get caught clogging the pipes and got detention for an hour, but I did it, I went to class, I studied, and I did the gym as requested. And at the end of the day, I saw that the bar hadn't been raised, and I received a suspension warning, even though I've had an A for weeks... Still without CC or mod.even on pause, relationships that change
Hello, Big bug today. I think it'll be better when I restart the game. But when I asked my sim to go play ball with her best friend, she went outside alone, and I started getting tons of pop-ups telling me that she had become close friends with so-and-so. I paused it, and the relationship continued to change, as if they were having a very long conversation in a split second... Still without CC or mods.Unable to save builds to my library. Corrupt build files will not delete.
I build a lot in Sims 4 and recently I've been unable to save my builds in my library. When I download the file, it never appears in the library. I've found several duplicate and corrupted build files in the library and when I try to delete them, nothing happens. Whats going on? How can I fix this?Household Help
I keep getting an LE that I have been chasing since the Enchanted update and unable to play. This error pops up, goes away, pops up again no matter what mods I have and even without mods and even when I load another save file. My game was just fine before. It tells me there is an issue with advancing the story and something about culling and sim has no job. I don't know my sim is a college student. The game seems to run just fine when I removed the Tray folder, then after testing vanilla I put the Tray files back in the Tray Folder, and nothing else, no mods, nothing else, the error came back. There must be bad files or a naughty Sim in my Tray Folder messing up my game so I was going to remove tray files 50/50 until I find which ones were causing the LE. I don't know what files to remove in order to remove a certain Sim or Sims. Does removing HouseholdBinary Files alone remove a Sim or is there more? HHI, SGI, BPI, or TrayItem? If so, how do I know which files go together? The error reports from BE and MCCC give a specific Sim number that contain numbers and letters. Can I know from that? Time freezes in the game always between 5 and 7 AM, the NPC's stand still but continue to move around, I can click Pause or game speed but it has no effect. Even when the game does not freeze I sometimes get the LE and sometimes not but it is always the same error.[High School Years] Photo Booth pictures aren't saving to the Screenshots folder
Hello, I've encountered an issue with the photo booth from the High School Years pack. After my Sims use it, the photos don't appear in my Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Screenshots folder. I would like to have the original image files, not just a screenshot of the photo strip. Is there another location where these photos are stored, or is there a specific way to get the original files? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Can't Save Game -- Fox Dying
Hellooooo some help, fix, or feedback would be great! TIA. Happily playing with my super sim, maxing a few random skills in the hour I had to play, and then go to save to quit and get on with my day. When a fox dies. Okay, not great; camera snaps to the unfortunate thing, but no Grim. I keep working at my programming skill, two days in game, still no Grim. I can't save the game to quit, I can't leave the lot, I can't enter Build/Buy, I'm a bit screwed. I give it a few more days in game -- this time getting slightly anxious as I'm late to my next engagement IRL, still not able to save. So I have to exit the game without saving my progress - which is a bummer. Obviously the sim's household is in Henford but this has happened to me a couple times before and I'm getting a bit frazzled with it. Any work-arounds or fixes loomin on the horizon? Only Twisted Mexi's TOOL and BBB, no other mods.Overfeeding chickens
Employees can't stop spreading chicken feed. Does not matter if it is a hired rancher or a employee of a small business or whatever, they constantly feed the chickens when none of them are hungry and they have like 50 piles already on the ground. I saw a bug report about this that was 5 years old and there was no vote button so since this is still happening I am begging you to fix this again. My yard is nothing but chicken feed.
stuck in freebuild
I don't know if everyone is having this problem but I've found that when I am trying to build with my household I can't access the Household inventory. The game thinks I am building on a small business lot type, even though I have no small business registered to the lot. I don't know if anyone has any fixes that I could try.
Stuck on loading screen after placing lot from gallery
stuck on loading screen after placing not from gallery. if I try to download 2 or more lots from the gallery, the game will freeze. if it doesn't, if will freeze during loading. I occasionally can't saved. I get save errors. I rarely play with scrip mod except for pose player and post pack. My game is unplayable.
