Everything broke!
Last update destroyed my forever save, void character, glitches, and I can’t get into my households anymore! I go to the worlds menu go into the house and it send me back to the world menu I’ve got generations of family’s on there and now I can’t even access it and the cherry on top I come back and the only thing they fix what the gnomes and the dragging features, EA I expected better from you don’t you test these updates before they come out?? I’m so tired of this, we ALL are you have the money FIX THIS!Unable to add fourth rental unit
I've created a lot of 4 houses and want to make each one a rentable unit. The issue I'm having is that whenever I click on any of the rooms in the fourth house and try to add unit, it assigns it to a previous unit rather than creating a new unit. I've never had this problem before! Anyone else had similar issues and know how to resolve? I don't have any mods
Can Someone Please Explain to Me . . .
Why it is that after I save my game and exit for the night, with my Sim having 2 days left of an Ailment, he has 3 days left the very next day when I power up again.? I'm really cheesed off about this. This isn't the first time things have gone slightly wonky on me. This is just the latest incident. I know I'm not doing this to myself. Let's be clear not all those who get older grow addlepated. Just thought I'd get that one out of the way. 😉 I would just like to know if there's a way to stop this madness. The same butler exists in ALL households
My households used to have a different butler than other households, but something changed, and for some time now, it doesn't matter which household I go to, the same butler guy is there. The npcs that used to be butlers are still around but they're just regular npcs now. It is all I can do not to kill the sim that is playing the current butler because he is a lazy schmoozer. He has the active trait, yet if my sims don't make him get on the treadmill by mentoring him, he will get so fat he probably won't be able to get through doorways if I didn't make them exercise him. If I fire him and then call for butler again it will just be the same guy. WHY can't we have choices. I don't want a lazy, fat butler. Nor do I want to have an elderly broken down and always holding their hip butler either. I used to hate that the butler's changed out every time my sims went somewhere it seemed, but this is much worse always having the same butler across all households. I'm not sure if this was an intended change or something that needs to be fixed. Hopefully the latter.
How do you keep your "guests" little toddlers from destroying your property?
So, a sim (I renamed him John Redcorn because that who he looked like to me) called and said, hey I need some time - can I stay over. Little did I know that he was bringing his entire family (his wife, son and toddler). My sim only had a 2 bedroom house, with a finished basement, yoga studio, and she recently added on an attached greenhouse. Well their little spawn of satan keeps destroying my plant, and my sim can't discipline the little brat because she isn't their parent, and their parents (well they just eat my food, don't clean up, and want to chat all of the time.). How do you discipline another sim's toddler?
Renting Apartments making building disappear
A was renting the Fountainview Penthouse from San Myshuno and separated it into two units. I rented both, and all was fine. Until I justly evicted one of my tenants. I can only think that might've been the issue, because a couple of hours later, even after I continued to solve issues for the other rented unit, the problems started not being solved, even when I hired an expert contractor and the rented apartment disappeared from my rentals, so i couldn't visit. When I visited by my own, the whole building had disappeared!! I panicked and went into building mode to confirm it. I tried to build on it, but when I got out of the building mode, the screen looked like it'd crash at any moment. Help😰😰😰😰😰
My own Lot got corrupted while building it ?
So I can't seem to find anyone with the same problem, since yesterday i was building on a lot in Innisgreen (the tree one) and at some point it made my game freeze. I can't save it to the gallery or libary, nor can i access it in build mode, no cc used it's literally just a shell and some terrain. I can't explain to myself what the issue is, it get's stuck in diffrent save files, removing and turning off mods didn't change anything. So it seems like the lot got corrupted but literally like how, I am so frustrated cause i don't understand it and you can't repair the game with the ea issue. If anyone has any idea, it would be greatly appreciated.Pregnancy Issues
I started a legacy challenge unaware there was currently a problem with pregnancy. I quickly noticed that the option to try for a baby is gone, no matter how high the romance level is. I did have a mod for risky woohoo on, so my sim did end up getting pregnant, however the pregnancy test option is gone, and the games not registering that she's pregnant. The little notification/emotion at the bottom left is not there, she's had a baby bump for 4 days. I have removed any pregnancy mods I had on, tried forcing labor, and tried downloading a mod to fix it, bit nothing worked, the options are still not there for future kids and she's still pregnant.
sims overheating?
Opening and playing my game this morning, I noticed my sim fairy is constantly overheated, but the weather is not scorching hot, and she is wearing appropriate clothing. I don't think it's a huge issue, just a random bug, but has this happened to anyone else? on Mac, never used mods or cc
Can't place gifts or tree skirt under holiday tree

Cannot place gifts or tree skirt under holiday tree What do you expect to see? Option to place gifts under tree, and gifts under tree after this interaction Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. 1.116.223.1030 or the update before this There is no option to place gifts under the Holiday Tree (from Holiday Celebration Pack) or Stroke Of Midnight Department Store Holiday Spruce (from Seasons), and I'm not sure if this interaction was ever an option for the former, but I could've sworn it was for the latter. This is either a bug or a pretty significant oversight, because a major point of the holiday trees is the gifts places under them. I tested this both with and without mods/custom content, and it was true regardless of whether they were on or off. I can place gifts under the Ever Delightful Evergreen Holiday Tree (from Seasons) with no issue as long as I have mods turned off. However, when mods are on, no gifts appear after placing them, even though the game thinks they're there. It shows the "Remove Gift Pile" interaction as an option once the gifts are placed, even though no gifts are visible, and no gifts can be clicked on or interacted with. The tree skirt also doesn't appear, but the game thinks it does, because it can be removed after being "placed."Career Help (Joining a different branch)
Is there a way to join the secondary branch of a career after you have completed one branch? My sim reached the top of the entertainer career in the music branch but now I want her to reach the top of the entertainer comedy branch. I tried signing her up but the entertainer career is gone on the job list and musician is there. I also just tried cheating her to demote to before the choice but that just caused her to get fired and then you have to wait to rejoin the music career. I have no mods or cc.vampire sim biting a sim is not an invitation to enter the house
I haven't been playing a vampire sim very long but once I found his groove and how to handle feeding timewise and in ways more beneficial to him, I notice that when I have him feed on someone standing outside his property (meaning outside the gate) or like a paparazzi who entered the yard and was waiting for someone to go outside, that they seem to take that as an invitation to go inside. I did not notice it at first until the wall message popped up saying "Thanks for hanging out but I have to go now". NONONONONO....this should NOT be happening. These sims are food, and my sim does not want these randos inside his house. He has a child and it's not appropriate for these people to consider being fed upon as an invitation. Most of them my sim asks politely to drink from their wrist though I believe it has happened with people he has compelled to drink from deeply as well. Most times they will pass out and then wake up and go home or whatever. But if they're close enough to his house I believe one or two have went inside. I'd like this to be fixed or give me the ability to kill household intruders. It does me no good to go hunt these sims down and go through the machinations to kill them because another idiot sim will just replace them and the game mechanics are going to allow them to walk into my sim's house too. Please, for the love of the game just fix this problem. My sim handled it this time but sims entering without invitation is too invasive and where is the fun when the prey comes to you. Hmm, which makes me think I have another problem bc the sim being bit in this photo shouldn't have been able to have been bit if my sim had just fed on him recently. Regardless, the above still holds true for the sims I know he has fed upon.Locked doors not preventing entry
Since yesterday the locked doors in my sim's house are not preventing entry. However, they do prevent exit. I have a large underground basement and some rooms I don't want sims in until I am ready to bring them into use. So, I have the doors locked for everyone. I also have a butler's bedroom on the second floor of the house, and it was locked for everyone and to allow butler only, but everyone has been able to just waltz in. I found my sim's child stuck in there because he couldn't get back out. This morning, I found a paparazzi came in there too. I have not had this problem until this last update, and I need my doors fixed please. It's like my sim's doors are just for show as far as entry goes and exiting is like the Hotel California and they can't exit.
Can't Resize Objects
I'm a longtime builder and thus very familiar with the cheat console. Today, while working on a nightclub, I accidentally entered a combination of keys that locked me out of resizing objects. I can raise them and lower using 9 or 0, but sizing is broken. When I use the right bracket ] the game zooms in slightly. The left one doesn't do anything. I've repaired the installation and removed all mods but the issue persists. I've tried numerous key combinations since they are recommended as a workaround for height adjustments. This includes Shift + [ and Alt + ] and Shift + Alt + [. None of these resolve my issue. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Pack items still tagged in gallery when removed
I’m not sure if this is only happening to me bc i haven’t seen anyone else talk about it but if my sim was wearing an item even if i remove it, it still says they’re wearing it on the gallery. like for example if i randomize a sim and they’re wearing stuff from city living, cats& dogs, & for rent, if i remove all the pack items and save the household, in the “packs used” section it still shows those packs being used when they’re not wearing anything from them.Weird Dine out x Enchanted by nature gallery glitch
I made a household with only the base-game and enchanted by nature but when i click on the household in my library it’s saying i used dine out. When i clicked on dine out and hit the “show used items” button its blank. the only reasoning i can think of for this is maybe they used a mesh from dine out for the new pack ??? idk but it’s very frustrating because i wanted to upload a limited pack household so more people can find and use it, but now i cant.
