Elevator stolen by a klepto, can't replace it
My sim's birthday party included a kleptomaniac guest who was somehow able to steal the elevator off of the apartment. I can't place a new one due to "out of bounds" or "outside of owned property" errors. This is preventing sims from entering and exiting the home. I moved my household out, and since I have the For Rent expansion, put in a resident and they are also unable to access the apartment. Of course my landlord rating is going down but I'm more concerned about getting access again. This happened to an apartment in San Mushiyo or whatever that town is named, if that matters! Please allow players to place elevators in apartment buildings Please disallow kleptomaniacs from being able to steal elevators... While we're at it, can we make it so infants aren't upset about a regal residence falling below its target value? Not sure they understand the concept of property values :')
Game crashing and resetting
I recently bought a couple of expansion packs/game plays for the Sims 4 and since then one of my houses completely disappeared with absolutely everything on the lot gone. It's been resetting itself and taking it back to a previous point of play and freezing. This is driving me absolutely crazy! Anyone else having the same issues with this?
Spandrel and Frieze issue
I have a wall of spandrels that have a frieze so it is pushing them down. I added a flat platform next to it and on one side it is making the spandrel ignore the frieze while its working fine on the other side. I've tried replacing it and copy and pasting one side and the other. Any idea why its doing this and how to fix it?Sims just standing still and move a little
Hello, Today, when I went into my game today, I my sims just stood there and didn't do much, even though they have a movement in the cue. I tried reseting my sims, that didn't work. I tried going in and out of Buildbuy, that didn't work. I did send one of them to another location and back, and that did work for a little bit, but then they just stood there. I even tried to take out all of my mods, and they just still stood there not moving or a little bit of movement, but then they end up just standing around. I am currently repairing my game. I am also wondering if pausing the game too much is causing this issue or that extra thing that I did were I have them pause when the game starts. I just want my sims to move. How do I fix this. And by the way, it's not just one sim in this household that just stood around, but all of them. How do I fix this?
last exception errors despite no mods
i have recently had a corrupt save file and had to start over, since then my game has been fine but has been throwing some last exception files inconsistently. A week ago i installed MCC command center which is my first ever time using a mod, this is telling me there has been a last exception error 3 times in the last 2 days. My mod is updated and downloaded correctly however im not sure that the mod is causing this since i recently had a corrupt save file and have lastUIexception text docs, lastexception texts docs and lastcrash text docs. Is this something to ignore or a possible game breaking issue?
Lot not loading in
Hii so every time I try to load in my household it literally doesn't let me into the lot. It loads for a bit and then takes me to worlds. I've restarted ea app and my computer (mac). Every time i try to click play household it takes me back to the worlds page. I do have cc and mods but i've taken them out and left them in and it hasn't affected them.
Infinity Pools
Hi EA & fellow simmers 💚 I built a house on raised terrrain and I successfully made an infinity pool in the backyard on the same leveled, raised terrain. I deleted it to reconfigure the backyard but now anytime I make a new pool with staircase my sim is saying they cannot get it. The terrain is level with the house, completely leveled in the back, staircase intact, I cannot figure out for the life of my what is stopping them from going in. Please help!3 year save file bugs(?)
I have a save file of my legacy challenge that is 3 years old now. Every lot is not filled with something from the galley and I have a good amount of unused lots. Thought my game freezes at times. Sometimes I can’t pause or unpause, my PS5 controller cursor disappears and I can’t click anything. Has anyone tried moving their legacy into a new save file and is it helpful or would the problem continue? I know people only save the families they want and the houses/lots. I’m wondering if it’s worth it.Missing bee box
Been having an issue with the game. It keeps ucrashing after a couple minutes. I’ve managed to solve this luckily for now. However, there was a lot of stuff missing from my packs that I’d bought previously. This has mostly been resolved. However, from what I can see the Bee Box is now missing X_X. I’ve typed it in, looked for it and it’s just not there. Not really sure what I can do, I’ve cleared the data, cache, uninstalled, reinstalled, turned off and unplugged Xbox so 🤷🏻♀️
Build/Buy Mode Bug
When going into build mode, everything will grey out and the bottom panel with the build/buy items does not show up. The button that takes you back to live mode will grey out and say you have to go back to the world map to play but when you do that, it doesn't let you go into any families and its still missing components of that screen. Please fix asap as I have to completely exit my game and reload the entire game just for it to do the same thing. It's been happening since 3 updates ago.Expansion packs missing
I have bought nearly all of the expansion packs and all of the extras, I’ve just tried playing today and apparently I don’t own anything and I need to repurchase all of them. I’m not sure what to do or who or how to contact anyone on how to fix this. This is on my MacBook [CM edit - descriptive title]
Game is un-selecting objects in BB mode
As the title states; BB mode is basically unusable right now, as the game is deselecting objects basically as soon as I click them in the catalog. Game is up to date, but I haven't played in about a week before this. Video is attached ; I didn't realize that the in-game video recorder did not include the catalog (my bad) but every time you see an object appear and then disappear, that's what's happening.
