sims not doing anything autonomously despite settings
i started up a family in san myshuno with one sim and everything seemed normal until i started the time. my sim would simply idle and await orders instead of doing anything autonomously even though i have my settings on full autonomy. my sim does everything i directly make them do but they dont do anything on their own. has anyone else had/fixed this problem before??
Flower Visual effect on sims head
This started after I brought my 2 sims back from a getaway so I don't know if that has something to do with it but they have this weird animated effect over their head, almost like how kids get when they're imagining something. I tried clicking on them to see if there was a way to disable it like there is with the fame shine from get famous but couldn't find any setting. I think its really annoying so was wondering if anyone know what's causing it or how to disable it? It only happens when I'm clicked on the sim.Game Crashing when returning from High School
Hi there, I loaded the game this morning on my PC and one of my sims was at high school and I decided to go there. When trying to return to their home lot, the game kept crashing on the load screen. I exited and repaired the game, tried again and no luck. I tried re-entering the game just instead of "resuming", I loaded the game and chose another sim from the same family to start with and the game crashed on the load screen again. Do not have any mods or CC installed, recently purchased the new expansion pack and had little problems since then but not like this. Would love some help if possible!
Gameplay Issues
I don't know where to put this but...items in my personal inventory, household inventory, fridge, apothecary table, etc; keep disappearing soon after i put things in. i can't complete the forever friend thing bc I can't get to sylvan glade with a teddy bear. I have removed all cc and mods, repaired the game and all packs, then restarted my pc. Nothing has worked, help!My Sims 4 were unable to save "corruption save 414" can someone help me out?
I've tried removing the mods file but it still won't saved, I DIDN'T download the new adventure pack, and when I was playing, everything was normal, except that it won't save, and once I pressed the save button and it won't work, it started to lag.. but if I dont, everything was fine.. please if anyone could help me out.. thanks!Vet Clinic - Please Help
I bought a vet clinic. I have 3 employees. Im using the one already in the game. I've visited with my sick pet before i bought the clinic. When i open the business, people show up with their sick pets. The vets i hired WILL NOT treat the animals. When i select the pet, there is no option to treat. When i select the owner, there is no option to treat. I tried the podium. I've tried the equipment. Nothing is working. When i open, there's just a bunch of sick animals throwing up but no one is doing anything. Please Help!!
Negatives of UI elements appear when changing screens
I recently got a new laptop and just opened up the sims for the first time, and found that when different menus would go away the negative would remain on the screen for a second before going away, almost like it was lagging. I have no mods, and I tried changing every single graphics setting in the game, and it wasn't changed. Below is a picture of what it looks like, but it would happen on various menus, such as the age/voice/gender menu, or when you choose an occult. Please help!
Game crashes when I start a camping trip
whenever i start a Kids summer camp getaway my game has been religiously crashing. Its been doing that when i tried to start up my romantic getaway but then it started to work again. and even then it was gltichy because the schedule wouldnt show up or work properly. now im starting my summer camp getaway and now im back to square one with the game crashing.doors not staying locked, sims (STILL) dressed while showering, diploma gone
every time there is update -- something (actually a lot of things) get broken can you just not update so this time i found out that some lots the locked doors stay locked (as they should) - but some other lots the doors that are supposed to be locked are all unlocked I saved sims right before they graduate to gallery so when i place those sims on lots they get their diploma in the inventory (and it stays) after i play them - but after i save game and come back to this game again, it disappears also painting - i drew them and hung on the wall - and its just blank now and still, when sims take shower / bath, they wear this salmon colored underwear - it's been forever when are you fixing this update is actually downgrade please fix all these as soon as possible pleaseSims keep fighting
I am having an issue with all of my saves where all of the Sims (NPC and my sims) keep insulting each other and starting fights. I have tried clearing out my mods and doing a clean save file and it keeps happening. None of them have mean traits and I have even tried changing their personalities. I know this has been a bug in the past, is there a solution coming soon?Resizing body parts and rotating via click and drag in CAS freezes game.
My problems started after updating on 19th Oct 25. When in CAS, clicking and dragging to rotate the sim or to manipulate / resize a body part will cause the game to go into an unrecoverable freeze. I have tested across multiple devices (AM3+ -based gaming PC, Intel ivy bridge-based macbook pro, AM5-based thinkpad) with the same symptoms. After freezing, the game has to be manually killed. The game reports itself as version 1.118.257.1020 DX11 I have tried: repairing the game removing all mods deleting the cache completely removing and reinstalling the game I have the pre-order limited edition and the following packs: For rent Vintage glamour stuff vampires toddler stuff tiny living strangerville spa day seasons realm of magic lovestruck perfect patio stuff parenthood outdoor retreat nifty knitting stuff laundry day stuff kids room stuff holiday celebration pack growing together get together get to work get famous eco lifestyle discover university dine out cottage living cool kitchen stuff city living cats & dogs bust the dust kit basement treasures kit life of the partyCat disappeared after going to the vet
Hello! I had to take my cat to the vet (literally about 2 weeks ago (in game obvi) and when i went home with my cat she just wouldn’t show up in my house! The icon is the same as it should be when the cat is at home and the “call over” command doesn’t bring it home. I tried the “simstagram pets” to see her location but she seems to be located somewhere my sims can’t even go. The only thing keeping her alive is me using the alter needs cheat so she won’t starve so i just use that anytime she’s uncomfortable or anytime i get a notification saying she’s hungry😭 i have tried just about everything now! When i click her symbol the camera just end up right outside the apartment
Ravenwood Graveyard NPCs wearing Paint Stained Clothes, and other Issues
This is the first time I have been to Ravenwood since I bought a bunch of packs including AA. Suddenly I noticed a bunch of NPCs are dressing in this (see below images) at the Graveyard in Ravenwood (not all but 2-4 ish each visit). I also lost Waylon Warez (I think he disappeared after becoming an NPC for a Custom Venue Role), I stalked his usually places for days, leaving and returning multiple times. I also can't find him at the Custom Venue where I saw him before. I also cannot deliver a Gnome to Grim. I tried removing my mods but I think it got stuck in this glitched save. Anyone else get these issues, before or recently? If this is just normal occasional glitches I guess I can start a new game, if not, I guess I can set up a bug report for each if they happen in the next save.
