won't connect online/won't open gallery
everytime I try and open my gallery it just loads, it never does anything els. I can't save my sims to my library or to the gallery because of this. I've tried everything. I've reset my computer, my router, I've gone into the game and done what google tells me to do, I've deleted all my mods, etc. nothing is working. id really like for my sims to meet and to make a storyline but I cannot do that if my sims isn't working. how do I fix this?
Non-vampire parents had a vampire baby
One of my households has a spellcaster dad and a human mom. They have 3 daughters together. Two of them are spellcasters, and one is a vampire. I didn't think the game allowed traits to be passed down. However, even if it did, I'm not sure how she would've inherited vampiric genes. The only thing I can recall is that the girls' grandmother was a human who became a vampire after being turned by her husband. Sometime after the divorce, she cured her vampirism and married a spellcaster. But I can't remember if she cured it before or after having children with her new husband. So, my question is, can an occult trait be passed down from a grandparent?Missing Expansion Packs
A while ago, I purchased the 'Island Living' expansion pack while it was on sale, and went to go download it. The problem was, I couldn't find in the manage game content area for the game on my Ps5 or on the EA app even though it says I own the pack and to just download it. I also noticed I had 'City Living' in the owned expansion pack category but it wasn't in my game because there was nowhere to download it from. Again, I had bought both packs while they were on sale and didn't get any of them.Writing Lyrics Bug/Glitch
Idk if this is how the game is supposed to be but it takes over 12 in game sim hours to write the lyrics to a song my sim either gets way to hungry or looses all bladder control before then and the game makes them either go eat or go to the bathroom, now i wouldn’t be complaining if when i returned to my guitar i dodnt have to start all the way over from scratch for the 12 hour session again so i literally cant make lyrics because its just too long to do its really frustrating me , considering im doing a themed play of Bob Marley rn, and you telling me bob cant right a lyric to his own songs is pass absurd, please fix the game there are way too many bugs popping up in the sims 4 that i never noticed until now the sims was never this buggy at all especially the n xbox now sometimes its impossible to play
Sims Freezing
I am having an issue where when one of my sims will come home from work or school and get stuck outside. They won't even move to a different location outside. If I quit and go to the loading screen and restart the game, it usually fixes it. Also, I am having issues having my sims care for their toddler/infant. I will tell a sim any sim to feed or give bath, but they never do it. Any tips?
Tend Tattoo Table Not Working
Whenever I try to get my sim to tend the tattoo table, he just goes on his phone or starts reading a book. I've tried doing this both with and without mods and it doesn't seem to work no matter what I do. I've also tried making sure the areas with the tattoo tables are set to public (it's a small business) but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Does anybody have any solutions for this?
Sims: Horses/Glitch
I have no issues with the game except for when my households have horses. As soon as my sims have a horse the game glitches. It freezes and then continues. I enjoy playing the ranch life but it is frustrating that whenever my household has horses the game glitches. Anyone else experiencing this??? Side note: I don't use mods.
Sims Survey Error
I asked EA support this question, and after they investigated it, I was told in their chat to ask in this specific forum instead even though it's not directly related to gameplay. I received the email "Take a survey to earn a $5 EA App coupon" and did the Sims 4 survey, but on the coupon code page, only a little rectangle showed up, and there was no code. Then on the last step of the survey, I clicked "Next" and got an error message. It was a very time-consuming survey, and I'm concerned my answers didn't go through at all? Did this happen to anyone else? I took screencaps of both errors and have attached them here.
Splitting up a household w/o moving to yet another household
Looking for something more current than 5-10 years ago, LOL. I am playing in San Myshuno and wanted 2 Sims in the same building to swap apartments. I could find no way to do it so I ended up moving one in with the other. Then I tried to move the other to the empty apartment. Seems like the Split only has options to move to another household, which has to be about one of the most absurd things I've ever run into with TS4. I've tried Manage Households, where I run into the above. I'm trying to find something in their personal menu, on the phone, anything... I'm hopeful that after 10 years of people complaining about this function, or lack thereof, someone will have information on how this can be done, most preferably one that doesn't mean I have to move some people into the apt I want my Sim to have, move him to that household, then what... delete them in CAS? We were able to move individual Sims out in TS3, and I'm pretty TS2 as well. Can't remember back to when I played TS1, except for the incredibly cool Magic pack, hahaha.How do you get an infant to Pull To Stand?
just what the title says, how do you get your infant to pull to stand. I think there might ge a glitch because I used to be able to make the parent sim, holding the infant, practice 'pull to stand' on a floor, and after a few times parent sets infant down, infant crawls to open chair, and pulls itself up. i have tried this with 3 different families, different save files, one i tested with no mods installed, all the same result. whats happening now is the parent sim just stands there like an idiot holding the infant as it fusses and cries, and if you manually make them set the infant on the floor near an open chair, nothing happens. if you click 'practice standing' under activities, nothing queues up, nothing happens. you just click endlessly until the normal game glitch happens and the parent just sets the fussing infant on the floor so they can sniff the dusty floors 🙄 is this a glitch that is planning to be fixed? cause yeah i can cheat the milestone, but i like the animation of the parent watching the milestone happen and if i cheat it i miss put on that. plus, you shouldn't have to have mod and cheat just to get your infant to learn how to stand. what is wrong with this stupid game?Sims not being saved
Hi, I just downloaded Sims 4 last night and had this issue again. When I create a Sim and then another and go to enter the game, one of the Sims is never saved. The Sim always reverts back to its original look before I customized it - I thought this was a glitch but it's still happening. I can't save from the CAS menu, does anyone know how to stop this? It's really annoying since I spend a long time on my Sims.
Anger issues
When my sim was in University, she flirted with another sim as she was involved with another. She confessed, they made up, and got married. How do you get them to stop thinking about it. He is very angry (again) and she is feeling guilty as if she never confessed to it. It keeps going on and on. Can someone help? [CM edit - CAPS]Sims stuck in loading screen
Hi! I have been having this issue where I go into sims to play and it will show the loading diamond screen, and I click it and it will glitch for a second then go back to the loading screen. I will press resume game and I will get into the game. But, when I try and travel or go on a date it will show the travel load screen(not the diamond one) and will just stay there, while my sims do stuff such as shower and talk to other sims- in the background. I was wondering if this is an issue on Sims or a mod issue I have tried repairing the game, doing mods by groups and still something is not working. I was also wondering if there was any place I could take it to, to get fixed. Or an easier way to get it fixed. [CM edit - descriptive title]
Broken CAS Items And BuildMode Items...
I'm Not Sure If Its Just Me, But Some Of My Stuff Pack Items Shows The Weird Broke Texture That My Mods Show When They Are Broken Or Needs Updating... Such As; -Perfect Patio -Movie Hangout I First Assumed That It Was My Mods So I Removed All Of Them...But That Was Not The Issue. So,I Went Through The Settings And Cleared The Whole Game Cache...The Items Were Still Showing The Broken Texture... What Do I Do Now?
