Console Problems…
I think the Sims team can remove this from the game, and never had it in. After, the For Rent bugs messed up the save file I had for three years, I decided to save all my sims, lots, etc. and start fresh. Only to find out I can’t add “parent-child” relationships to any of my families, unless they were saved together. Console players we can’t use mods, and can only use some of the cheats. How am I supposed to fix this? I haven’t played in months, when I realized and now that it’s every family, I don’t want to play at all. 😭
Aspiration/career tasks not registering in gameplay
This is my first bug report, because this bug has become very annoying for gameplay in the Sims 4. I play on a PC (if this helps at all) and the aspirations are not registering when I complete a task. Even career related tasks are not registering. I don't know what is going on, but it has happened ever since the major base game update. I have reset, repaired, and disabled all mods and got rid of them in my folders multiple times now, but nothing has worked. I am hoping others are having the same issue I am because if not, then I really don't know what is going on with my game specifically. It makes it really hard to play if I can't complete aspirations or get promoted in careers. I am also hoping maybe someone else has a different solution to my issue. Possibly. I am at a loss and have not really played anymore as I do enjoy the gameplay of it all more than CAS and build mode. Any help or discussion is very appreciated! Even if no one has a solution or input, at least my report is out there for the EA team to hopefully see. Thank you for your time if you do read this!
My Library Sims and Lots
I've been playing a Forever Sims save file since I started playing the game way back when. It's only recently that I've been getting deeper into the game and learning more about it. This past week I've been considering starting a New Game to reset certain aspects on my worlds and Sims BUT I have grown attached to my Forever Sims from my original save file. I have been wondering if when I save my households to My Library, does that include everything ie. earned traits from achievements, household funds, etc.? Or does it just save their appearance and base traits? I don't want to part with years of progress with this Sims. I've created a deep lore for these Sims that I don't want to part ways with just to reset the world. I guess I kind of want to have my cake and eat it too.
Move Cemetery to another neighborhood
Hey friends, I was wondering how to move my cemetery out of Glimmerbrook. I plan to remove Realm of Magic from my game. This cemetery consists of my large legacy families, and I made a copy and relocated it somewhere else, but all the urns disappeared. I was wondering if I make it residential, can I move it successfully? Any advise? Thank you.
Neighborhood Stories stopped telling me who is in a relationship.
Hi. Lately neighborhood stories stopped telling me who is dating anymore. I use to get notifications of whose is dating then I would go into those households and move those sims in together if confirmed. When I get break up notifications I would do the opposite. I get break up notifications that are confirmed (thanks for update) and sims getting back together but no new relationship. It has been about 10 in game weeks since “sim1 and sim2 started dating” notification appeared. I thought it was just my main save, so I made a new save on console played about four in game weeks, then did the same with base game pc version no mods. Same results. Any way to fix this? Should I randomly go into households from time to time and check that way they since friendship changes do appear with no issue? Do I need Lovestruck now for this to work?Using Sims 4 DLCs from both EA and Steam
Hi, so I found that EA no longer sells Sims 4 to my region lately, but I got the game and bought lots of packs from EA before that happened. I'm now interested in buying Businesses and Hobbies, and so far I haven't found any restrictions on Steam. So can I install the base game from Steam and purchase Businesses and Hobbies from Steam, while still accessing my packs from EA?[Xb1] Specific Sim getting deleted/culled?
Hi all. (Or should I say, sul sul…)🙃 I downloaded a custom sim from the gallery for my game. I went about making her family, moved them into a house, and then…she just disappeared completely, like she didn’t exist! I tried several times, and several things- Going back into CAS, importing her from gallery, yadda yadda- same result. I tried merging her from Live Mode, and nothing…At one point, her sim was still there on the lot, but I couldn’t control her, and she was missing from the little Sim icons at the bottom. I tried resetting her but it said she didn’t exist! I even completely deleted every townie, upped the Sim limit to none, and uninstalled/redownloaded my game and packs. It is still not working. I’m missing several of the add-on packs for her sim (turns out the Motherlode cheat doesn’t work irl, I can’t even get the cheat console to open in my house- ba dum tss..) ; but I made do with the cosmetics I had. I really just wanted an accurate Harley face. 💔It only happens with her- and her model has a few reposts/ edits under different Simmers. (For anyone wondering, it’s the Margot Robbie model by Sil_Guez, reworked as Harley Quinn by AngelDust_boom) (beautiful work btw; also totally not their fault I know- they might have posted from PC, not console!) Anybody have tips? So, is this a pack issue? Because it doesn’t change her face mapping at all- just takes off hair, clothes etc. (which I can replace with other similar stuff.) I should get going. Sim idles getting ridiculous
I’ve been dealing with this issue across several different saves whether I have mods installed or not. My sims will idle with actions in their queue and not do jack. I have to reset them anywhere from two to three times and then it happens again within a minute or two of playing. Happens with every sim in the household. Seems especially bad at public venues like bars. I’d say I’ve been dealing with this all year but it seems to be getting worse with each new patch that comes out. My computer specs are more than capable of handling this game. I do have every pack/expansion but I shouldn’t have to turn them off for the game to function properly, that’s dumb and defeats the point of buying new stuff from EA at all.
All kind of stuff
having all kinds of problems. when the cameraa rotates, screen freezes, turns white,, wait, and it goes back. chimmney not working, no smoke, working hours & hours, & no smoke. tried everything. Sim stands frozen, starring does nothing, this happens on fairies ^ regular sim. im on a hp laptop. the game is broke, go to bank get some cash & hire devolpers that can fix the game we paid for. or ...refund us. im always wanting to quit & ive spent a ton of cash on sims & EA, fr back as POGO, FB & app! sick of broken game. the gallery use to work, saves spin for a long time, says theres nothing in my gallery, says I havent uploaded. whats happening in sims, fix it or trash it. too many bugs, fairies lose emtions ebvry few minutes. they & reg sims, forgage & get sick!?? stop forgage & goes to shower, who's idea was it to ruin sims!???
Skims 4 game not playing after resume mode is selected
I got a error code that said 110:4dc96e6e:4d1e03ab that stated the game failed to load that it is recommended to relaunch the game. I have done this several times and also repaired the game. Sometimes it will get to the resume a household and i click it but then just stay stuck in loading mode until i shut my laptop down completely. I'm not sure when this occurred before august 25th as when i tried to get back on and play. can someone please help me with this. Thank you in advanced.Del Sol Valley deliveries glitch/bug?
This is a glitch that has been occurring in my Sims game for quite a few months now, it involves getting deliveries sent to a certain lots in the Del Sol Valley world. Every time I try to request a delivery in 'The Pinnacles' area in Del Sol, it does not deliver. This includes mainly food deliveries, the mail deliveries do work. I don't know how to fix this and it's extremely annoying since my main legacy family is based here. The deliveries work in every other lot in my Sims world EXCEPT any lots in 'The Pinnacles.' - Does anyone know why or how to fix this? Additional info: The deliveries don't arrive regardless of if i'm using the basegame delivery services, or any modded delivery services. This glitch has long been occurring since before I've downloaded any modded delivery services. My game is also always up to date.
Where are the sprite vfx?
I haven't seen sprite vfx in my game in a while. I tried to trigger them with one of the sprite moodlets, and nothing appeared. I joined the order of enchantment, and no sprites during their meeting. I took out all my mods, and still saw no sprites. I play with high setting, not on laptop mode. Idk if the missing sprites is a me problem, or if the game is having a hiccup. The sprites in the pond show up just fine... but not the moodlets.
Traits panel not showing in CAS
Hi, I've experienced this issue before once but I don't know how it seemed to resolve itself. The issue has popped up again and I removed all mods, thinking that a broken mod was the issue but the issue seemed to be the game itself. I then attempted a repair and removed my Sims 4 folder but the issue persists. Trying a last resort, I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, hoping that would fix the issue but still when I opened the game up, the traits panel wasn't showing up. Not sure what else I can try. Any help would be appreciated!
