Characters won’t load in game
So I have custom content I’m not sure if it’s that but whenever I’m done making my characters and it takes you to go pick a house it says that there’s a technical issue and it tells me to re-launch the game but every time I re-launched the game. It says the same thing so I’m not sure what’s going on. Won’t load up the characters so I can buy a house or anything.
Sim 4 Infiniate blue loading screen. No end in sight. Please send help.
This has been happening since at least 12/13/25 according to my last save. That date is now ingrained in my head. Problem: when loading up my sims i press resume and it leads to blue screen. If i pick load save and then play, it loads to blue screen. Sometimes i will hear the sound queue that the game has loaded but it infect has not and im stuck on the same screen. Factors: No CC or mods anymore. removed it during the 50/50 method before i tried with no mods and issue persisted. Was in the middle of a vacation with sims during my last save. Attempted and failed fixes: -Removing CC and mods. -Clearing localthumbcache.package. -Clearing EA app cache. -Moving the Household. -Repairing the game. -Change Driver x thingy to 9. I am losing my mind and about to find a dupe for this game. Help me before i go completely insane. I beg you. I have over 6000 hours and a generation challenge that i'm in gen 3 for. I have so much time and money into a game I cant even play.The game loads until The Sims 4 logo, whitescreens and crashes.
Sometimes it takes 2 seconds, sometimes it crashes instantly on logo, when starting up. I have already tried: Updating all of my drivers Reinstalling the game Closing all other programmes while loading Deleting saves folder and letting it automatically create (although i have no saves on this PC yet, it is a new one) Running EA as administrator Using repair on EA Downloading the game also on steam and verifying integrity there Setting the game´s GPU to my Radeon 780M in graphic settings. I really dont know what to do now. Any help would be amazing, thanks in advance. Also sending the copy of my DxDiag.
PC Freezing Completely
After using google, researching all that I could, repaired my game files, looked through my mods and everything else, I cannot figure out what is going on. Backstory, I recently got completely new components in my pc, like all that I did is essentially a whole new computer, just the same case. Either way, I was so excited to get all my games and mods back up and running, yet to my demise, my sims keeps crashing my entire computer. I've been looking this up for hours, trying a whole bunch of different things, running the game through DX9, updating my drivers, etc. All I'm trying to do when it does eventually freeze, is stream the game through discord with my fiancé and our best friend. After I updated my drivers, everything seemed to run perfectly fine with *nothing else open*. Could this have anything to do with discord? Looking for some answers! Mouse Stops Working When Sims 4 Launches
Hello, I've seen a few discussions where people experience similar events but I have attempted to follow those guides with no success. Sims 4 on PC was working fine for me up until a few months ago, shortly after the fairy pack was released. Now, whenever the game launches my mouse is unable to move. Either using the bluetooth mouse or the mousepad does not work. I am able to click the Windows button and return to my desktop where my mouse works with no issues. If I try to return to the game, it's almost as if it loaded just a bit more but still frozen mouse. I have cleared my cache on my PC and on EA and nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game, nothing. Repaired the app, nothing. I do not use mods but deleted everything regardless and nothing. I even attempted to put the game in the windowed version but that ended up freezing my entire screen. If anyone could please advise I would be super grateful. So, a few days ago, I redownloaded the EA app and The Sims 4. But today, I tried to add my mods and CC I had just installed and it was nowhere to be found in the documents folder like it usually is in. I went to my home screen, right clicked on the EA app and clicked open file location and it took me to program files. And it took me there when I right clicked on the The Sims 4 app as well and I can't access anything. All the folders there are just 'data' 'game' and 'bin' and stuff like that and not letting me add my mods to ANYTHING. I tried redownloading it and moving the installation area to my documents and it went there but still only showed 'data' 'game' 'bin' but I can open the apps just fine. I just can't access anything.
Game continuously crashing
My game continuously crashes after 15-30 mins of play. I have disabled all game overlays, paused syncing on OneDrive, deleted my Sims 4 folder in Documents and restarted. I don't play with any mods or CC. I've started new saves and repaired the game several times. I just got a new HP laptop and my game keeps crashing. i removed all of my mods and CC out of the game, repaired it and updated drivers but it still keeps crashing. i'm able to load the game and CAS but after roughly 5 mins, it crashes whether i'm trying to play a new save or loading an old one. please help. I love the sims but took a break a year ago. I tried to come back today and had to update. Now I only have a white screen!! I can't do anything. I can hear it running. I minimized it and tried to go back in and now it flashes and stays in the tray. Won't open. Also ( I don't believe I have any mods!) I tried..... Uninstalling Running EA as admin Running Sims as admin Deleting saves Alt/tab to try to come out of full screen Restarting Pc and probably more but nothing is working :(Not able to save the game
Hi, so my game keeps getting "frozen". For the past 3 times I started the game, it froze when I wanted to save the game, travel somewhere with my Sims, or wanted to build something in the world. Every time I had to sthut off the game without saving the new data. Does anyone have any idea what´s going on? Does it have anything to do with errors other people are experiencing now?Recently purchased pack not showing up in my library
I recently just bought 3 add-ons through the "bundle" promotion, and the werewolves and supernatural packs downloaded with no issue, but the For Rent pack never showed up in my library. I have gone into my manage add-ons, and it is not there, and I have "repaired" my game, and that also did not fix it. I am feeling frustrated because that pack was the bulk of the money in the discount, so I want to know how to access it. In the shop, it still lets me add the pack in my cart and proceed with purchasing. I do have a receipt saying I purchased all 3.Sims 4 packs unavailable in game?
So yesterday I bought both the high school years and seasons pack from the EA app. i downloaded both of them but when i went into the game only high school years was running and not seasons. I checked the pack selection and seasons was up under the 'owned packs' category but when i tried to press it it said it was unavailable. does anyone know how to fix this? i've cleared the EA app cache, repaired the app, and restarted EA but nothing has helped
Sims 4 Endless Loading Screen
Hey, so ever since the last update, my game is literally unplayable. I get these weird white screens and extreme lag. I also cannot load into the main menu without it taking forever. Once I get to the main menu selection to choose a household, I am still met with an endless loading screen.. my game has been like this for about a month.. I do NOT use any mods or cc. could someone please help me? i reallly would like to play my game again.Sims stand there doing no tasks
I recently added a new expansion pack to my collection, it was horse ranch. Ever since my sims keep getting stuck. I assign them tasks to do or things to do and they all just stand there. Eventually once ive reset everyone it works again but it keeps happening which is frustrating!
My game keeps crashing randomly !
Hey, so my game has been crashing for a while. There is no specific action or thing I do that makes it crash it just does and it's making my gameplay so draining and I keep losing progress if I dont save in time. I don't know if it has anything to do with mods, cc or just my pc in general. I have windows 11 and I play on a AMD mini PC. I can send more info if you need it but please help me figure this out because I've had enough of this. Hi guys, for a month I have a problem with my Expansion packs etc. Sooo.. At first you need to know that I had a problem with files, so I uninstalled game and after that I installed it again, and now I have a problem with packs that I bought on Steam and EA ( Somebody can ask me: so why did you bought packs on diffrent apps, and the answear is: for the first time when I playied The Sims I installed it on Steam and I bought some packs online, but someday I bought Expansion Packs code physically in store and I had to do it on EA( enter this code)), And nowwhen I turn on game in EA, app can see that I have this packs but I can play it only on Steam. When I turn on game on Steam I can see (In game) that I have packs from EA but I can't play it. Btw when I installed Sims last time I needed to install separetly on Steam and EA. So If somebody have idea how can I fix this I would be very grateful if you will write abt it. Thx.
