Sims 4 gaming issues
I am having a hard time getting my sims to complete interactions, they either just stand there or other commands that I have not given them will start to pop-up. I have tried resetting my sims using both the cheat (debug reset item), as well as CTRL+SHIFT+C resetsim (sim name) nothing seems to work at least for an extended period of time. Sometimes if I hit save it frees up the sim and they start their interactions and other times I have to log out completely. Any advice?
Collectibles glitched in a specific save
I've had this issue in the same save for a few weeks now and have tried every possible fix listed online. I deleted the cache, removed all of my mods and custom content, and even repaired the game. I know it is specific to this save, which I've been building up for years, because I tested a new save, and collectibles are spawning just fine. It's not that they won't respawn after collecting them; rocks, crystals, and time capsules do not spawn at all, period. Has anyone found a fix that will work without starting over completely in a new save?
Can't wash my clothes! I paid for this... I paid money for this to happen to me.
DO YOU SEE ANY LAUNDRY INSIDE THE MACHINE? Cause I don't! I can't use or upgrade the laundry machine... so of course I have a million full hampers and clothes on the floor... Reseting the laundry machine doesn't work Exiting the game and coming back into the game doesn't work
My Sims just moved and now I keep losing money.
I just moved my Sims to a new household. After a few seconds, I started losing small amounts of money very quickly (15-30 Simoleons at a time). It stops if I pause time, but quickly restarts. I did buy the household furnished and with freerealestate. I do have mods.
Trouble Assigning My Sims as NPCs
Hey everyone :) I hope all is well. I hoping some of you can help me. I am struggling to program my Sims in my save as NPCs. I use to do this no problem but now it's just not working and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. [1] Step 1, I create the Sim and move them into a lot. [2] Step 2, I use testingcheats true and then the appropriate code/trait for the NPC which I find here: EgonVM's Ultimate NPC Making Guide 2.0 | EA Forums - 4955205 Example: careers.add_career Adult_NPC_Nanny & traits.equip_trait trait_isNanny [3] Step 3, Evict the Household (as I was told NPC's cannot live in the world), and then I uncheck them as a "played" household. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
Losing 25 simoleons
I know this is caused by the back to the old days neighbourhood action plan, but it’s not active in my sims’ neighbourhood. It got voted in in their old one but they moved house to where there were no active plans. Still kept losing 25 whenever they used technology so I turned off eco lifestyle gameplay - still happening. They don’t really have a lot of money so I’d really rather this not happen!
Adult sims wont interact with infants and toddlers.
I have a married couple who have two children. One infant and one toddler. I try to get the parents to do things like read to children, tummy time, just normal interactions and they wont do them, they just stand there doing nothing at all. Sometimes after they have held or picked up the children the adults won't tend to their own needs even if asked like to go get leftovers they just stand there. I do not use Mods or CC.Property value funds won't transfer when moving households...
Hey there, I am playing on a PC with no mods or CC and I am currently having issues with my Sims' household funds fulling transferring when moving entire households. Their cash will transfer, but the value of their furniture/home will not. For example, I have a family with 15,000 simoleons on hand and a house worth about 50,000 simoleons. When I move them (no splitting) to a new vacant lot to build (about 5,000 simoleons) and choose to sell the furniture, their household funds reads as 10k (not the expected 60k)...essentially loosing the entire value of their previous home. I'm currently using cheats to replenish the missing funds, but I was curious if anyone else was experiencing this? Is there something I'm doing wrong? It's a brand new issue for me. :( Best wishes, <3
Sims just stand still
My sims just stand still even when I tell them to interact with something. For example, I'll tell them to take a shower and they'll just stand there but the queue will show they're taking a shower. I've taken out every single one of my mods, repaired the game several times, and I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Nothing works. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Sims missing hair & clothing on home screen, but not in game.....
My household are bald and in their underwear, but only on the home screen. When I load into the save, everything is normal. This has only started today. I re-loaded the game 4 times, but still the same. I also did a repair. No difference. ????? No CC or mods.
Sim can't stop carrying cat
Never had this issue before, my Sim will pick up her cat and then just... refuse to put it down, as shown in the screenshot, she's not holding the cat the normal way either. She keeps gesturing that there's something blocking her path. She will still do the things I tell her, but after complaining for a good amount of time and nothing makes the cat leave her hand. When I restart my game she does release the cat from her eternal grip, but within minutes she has the cat back in her arms and can't seem to put the cat down. Is this a known bug, is there something I can do other than repeatedly restarting my game whenever she picks up the cat?Remove Fear from Townie/NPC?
I have the issue that a lot of NPCs in Sulani have Fear of Swimming or Fear of Darkness. There are Cheats to remove fears from your played sim. But how can i remove a fear from an NPC aka Townie? I tried to move this Townie to an empty lot to make him playable, removed the fear and moved him out afterwards which removed the fears at least for a short time until he gets it again (which happens in Sulani very soon). But this is not only a complicated way, it also has the downside, that the Townie loses his job. Is there an easier way to remove fears from unplayed sims?
Toilet on fire...trophy?!
Can someone please enlighten me on where this trophy, or whatever it is, is from? I was playing around with the SimRay and received...this. I really enjoy getting things that can't be duplicated in build mode, but usually I can figure out what it's from?! Golden toilet on fire! 🤣
